Dr. Caleca is clearly a very good doctor but wow ~ WAY over priced. I saw the doctor for maybe 10 minutes, he looked at my eye issue, determined there was no problem, shook my hand and sent me on my way. I went to pay my bill and it was $220!! I should have known when I noticed all the seats in the waiting room were plush leather. Sorry, but that is over-priced. If you don't have insurance, this is not your doctor.

So I have been going to this doctor for I would say 3 years and the staff in the office in Palm Harbor location are very nice, but the person they have to handle the billing for this company has to be the rudest person I have ever talked to on the phone. First she would never return my call I have call about 5 times on the same invoice LM for her to call me back she never return my call. I explained to her that I called my insurance and they said they just need to resubmit the claim with the right coding so they can pay it properly, Mind you I can see that a different code was used on that claim when I signed into my insurance portal, but she is arguing with me yelling on the top of lungs at me because I want her to resubmit the claim. if I have been there and the insurance always pay the bill minus my copay and nothing changed on my insurance why can you just do what I asked which to re-submit the claim, I just don't get it how can people like that be in customer service she obviously do not like what she is doing, I would suggest you find another job lady. there is no reason for that kind of behavior. Unacceptable! I will take my business elsewhere. Remember we all have a choice.

This review is based only on interaction with the operator who answered the phone. I was looking for a doctor who accepts Medicare/Humana. This practice and each of its doctors were listed in the online provider list. When I called, the woman who answered the phone was very nasty and said, "Humana has us listed wrong. We don't take Humana." Then she hung up on me. It isn't my fault that Humana made a mistake. If she can't handle a simple question like this in a civilized way, she needs a new job.

Don't expect to be seen by anyone for over an hour past your appointment time! They know how long it takes for one patient. Many patients have to be brought by someone else because their vision is bad. So that person is stuck here for hours as well.

They would not accept my insurance not a problem. My insurance company mailed them my reimbursement check. Unfortunately we moved 3 hours away and they refused to mail the check to us claiming it was illegal to do so. That is not true they just do not want to facilitate a customer. They have crummy reviews so it's obvious they don't care about that being with costco will bring them enough business.

Costco optical in Clearwater has excellent customer service and prices! KB helped me from the time I got there through the purchase, explaining my options and benefits. Even though costco was out of network, my prescription glasses are still $100 cheaper than the eye doctors office that was in network with VSP and they had a good selection including the designer glasses I chose. Other reviewers said they waited long but I went on Saturday at 11am and they had 3 people working so no one waited long. Highly recommend!

I made an appointment for an eye exam. When I arrived and checked in, I only had to wait a few minutes. The technician gave me an initial exam. I then saw the optometrist Dr. Mason. The exam was the most thorough and best I have ever received. After I was finished, I went to the counter and Mackenzie helped with selecting my frames and ordering my glasses. She was extremely helpful and was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Costco Optical at this location.

I had an amazing experience! Everyone was very friendly and was joking with me. The doctor was excellent and explained everything very well. And she didn’t get annoyed when i asked random curious questions. 10/10

Dr. Fekete is amazing. She is kind and patient. Very thorough and takes her time explaining things. The technician was also very efficient and kind.

This was my first time coming to Target Optical. Dr Collins was wonderful, very kind, caring, spoke to me in laymen’s language to understand what each step was as well as going over all tests and very professional. The cost of the glasses was quite a shock to how expensive they were as I have never paid that much for glasses before. The ladies that did my eye tests and worked with me to find the perfect glasses for me were very pleasant to work with. I would recommend this store.
