My son got hit in the eye with a nerf bullet causing blood to pool in his eye. MCOA got him in immediately with Dr. Cohen, allowing me to avoid the ER., Dr. Cohan, is straight forward & honest. My son cried after the appointment because he was scared of what Dr. Cohen said. His method of communicating was stern & blunt. Some people may have issue with his way of communicating, but I very much appreciated it. It was important for my son & I to understand the seriousness of the injury. He got his point across & we knew the importance of following his instructions. I hope I don’t have to go back for anymore emergency eye visits, but he’d be the first doctor I call if I need to. He’s an amazing physician & will save your kids eyeball. Who cares about his bedside manner?

Dr. Tompkins was knowledgeable and kind. He explained everything in a way that I could understand. I appreciate that he has a lot of real world experience. I will definitely be coming back.

I was in office for a cataract exam and was told he wouldn’t be doing the surgery that he’s booked to March. I had no problem waiting until then as he did my one eye a couple of years ago. I did have major issues with that eye afterwards but that was because of my eye. The surgery he did was good. Even with me saying I would wait didn’t change anything. So, for me it was a waste of time and left. It would have been nice to have been told this at time I made appointment weeks ago. It was disappointing as he didn’t appear to want to do the surgery and was doing his best to discourage me. This was through another doctor that was doing my exam - never saw him personally.

I love 20/20 Eye Care! Dr. James is amazing! I had several issues and she is very thorough and followed up with each of them. Also their equipment is so much better than what my previous doc had, which I felt made my eye exam much more accurate. Also, I never had to wait for long when I had an appointment.

Accidentally broke my glasses about a month or so ago, after having a bad experience with Visionworks, I figured I would try Walmart due to my Insurance offering certain incentives with them. They were able to get me in for an exam, almost immediately from me calling and speaking with a staff member. The Doctor was extremely nice and helpful. I have dealt with several staff members within the last couple of weeks for adjustments ( I work in an environment were my glasses can get knocked off my face), they have been extremely nice and helpful each and every time! My glasses from Visionworks until now, this time at Walmart, I can see 100% better. The one's from Vision works were 2 years old but had a lot of issues getting the "correct" prescription ( took 3 remakes and a 1 star review to get help/corrected). The model is similar to the ones I got at Walmart; However, Visionwork's refused each and every time to adjust, stating the glasses are non adjustable. Where I'm getting at is Walmart has earned my business due to the Doctor and staff being professional and giving me a better product than their competitors.

I went to Dr. Malik for cataract surgery because my father had great results with him. I happily had the same. Zero pain and amazing results. I went from looking through a foggy window to HD clear on the first day. Thanks!

I was recommended by my ophthalmologist after my cross linking surgery. Dr. Banks, was able to relate to my situation and understood my vision problems and was able to fit me to correct contact lenses. I have been very satisfy and happy. The drive is worth it.

Appointment at Visionworks yesterday to get a renewed script for contacts. Been there before and was always easy. Yesterday, after doing initial testing, I find out there will be no in person contact with eye doc. No. The visit with eye doc is virtual. A video conference of sorts. Hard to understand eye doc. Quick and impersonal. But they certainly charged a rate that was in line with in person visit. All that is fine, EXCEPT when I made the appointment they never indicated the virtual doc. I won’t be back.

The optometrist paid so much attention to my needs and my exam and the sales staff was awesome! They offer many great options at multiple price points and I was just thrilled with the move from… that other place.
