Dr. Levinson and his team have provided my family with the highest level of service and care for several years now. They are the best! Dr. Levinson himself is friendly and humorous... and he's also through, careful, and responsive. His team - the office staff and the medical staff - are likewise both warm, pleasant, fun... and very professional. I have a strong impression, whenever I go in for an appointment, that people in the office actually like each other! That's very nice, and matches the positive outcomes my family has experienced in every interaction we've had. Everything has gone so well, from short visits and check-ups to lasik and lens replacement procedures. We can't praise this office enough, or recommend this practice more highly.

For the many years I have been a patient of Dr. Levinson’s, I have always felt taken care of by both him and his good-natured staff - all of whom show a sense of promptness, flexibility, and attention to detail (shoutout to Maggie). But last night, Dr. Levinson went above and beyond. I had just received a PRK procedure (similar to LASIK) from him, which had gone very smoothly. At around 11:30 that night, however, the protective contact-lens fell out and I was immediately met with acute pain. Out of desperation, I called Dr. Levinson’s cell (which he makes available). Not only did he answer, but Dr. Levinson made a home visit within 15 minutes of the call and resolved the issue. I was greatly relieved, because without his visit I’m sure I would have had to visit an ER. If you’re looking for an office that will look out for you, I could not recommend this one more.

I’ve had a really positive experience with Sumner Vision. There was a mishap that took place with my lenses, and they offered a helping hand to make things right. I certainly appreciate businesses that make the customer feel cared for.

I feel bad writing a one star review of a doctor’s office, but when there are countless alternatives, I would never recommend anyone visit Sumner Vision. Bear in mind I had to visit this office twice because they got my prescription wrong (twice), so my feedback isn’t based on a single experience: - The office got my prescription wrong the first time and I only realized their mistake after I ordered $300+ in glasses and lenses. This was despite me telling the doctor my complete shock at how the prescription seemed wildly different from my previous prescription which was less than 11 months old and a very weak prescription to begin with - Because of this mistake, I had to wait for weeks to get another appointment with Sumner just to get a new prescription. Fortunately, I thought, because I brought in my old prescription from 11 months prior, they would not make the same mistake - Unfortunately, it was only after I received yet another order of glasses and lenses (which again cost me over $200) that I realized Sumner vision had once again given me a prescription that made me feel cross eyed and gave me headaches - Finally last week, a year after visiting Sumner for the second time and using my glasses only when absolutely necessary, I visited another office (which was just a national chain optometrist) who pointed out to me that Sumner did in fact use the old prescription I provided them, however they switched the prescription between the left eye and right eye. - Throughout this whole time all the staff, technicians, and optometrists I saw were not friendly and borderline rude, in particular Dr. Smith, who was either having a rough day both times I saw her or just simply doesn’t enjoy working with her patients. - To make matters worse, a close colleague of mine had a very similar experience with Sumner and also wasted her time and money due to Sumner’s mistake. - To summarize: While all of this may sound harsh, vision is not something to be taken lightly, nor are people’s time and money. Sumner Vision apparently lacks the empathy or the ability to adequately treat their clients. I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience what I went through, and thus highly recommend going somewhere else for your vision needs.

I love Sumner Vision! Dr. Smith and all of the staff are very helpful and patient. I love the glasses selection and the top tier equipment. They are always on top of their game.

I saw Dr. Clay Pennington a few times to discuss Lasik/PRK surgery. He fitted me with a contact lens to get familiar with how my eyesight would change since I was only correcting one eye, therefore having mono-vision. After discussing the pros & cons of each procedure I decided to go with PRK. I am 2 weeks post surgery and my experience has been great. The first 2 days after surgery wasn’t wonderful, but once I made it past the third day my eyesight has been getting better and better each day. I’m very happy with the outcome. Dr. Pennington has a nice, easy-going personality. He does a good job of explaining the procedure and options to fit your lifestyle. Nancy Aug.2023

Being a critical care RN, I do meticulous research when it comes to selecting a medical provider for myself and/or my family, Dr. Pennington has not only met my expectations but has exceeded them time and time again. He is an exceptional clinician, and a strong patient advocate. My insurance would not allow me to have surgery at either of his regular surgery centers; he went above and beyond and found a center in my network!! Amazing!! He is knowledgeable, an outstanding communicator, and respectful to his patients and the staff he collaborates with. I highly recommend Dr. P and his staff; they truly are extraordinary!

While struggling with my vision, I discovered Dr Pennington’s office. I scheduled an appointment and discovered I had a cataract. Dr Pennington was able to diagnose the issue and correct in less then a week. On my follow up appointment my vision was perfect!! Thank you Dr Pennington for your speed service delivery and amazing customer service.

Beautiful space, friendly employees, lovely attitudes! They're always super considerate in providing me with daily contacts to last me while I wait for mine to be delivered and taking the time to walk through my visit and insurance benefits. I've had Dr. Schaefer for years and she always remembers me and asks about my work and other individualized questions despite my infrequent visits. Plus the prime location downtown! 7 out of 5 stars!!

Once again my husband and I have had an absolutely stellar experience at Optique of Denver. We both are seen by Dr Kasper. She is simply wonderful. Both of us have challenging eye conditions and Dr Kasper has been terrific managing our eye health. She explains everything thoroughly and answers all of our questions and concerns. Plus she always has proactive ideas for our care. We both feel confident in her approach to vision care. We have also been ordering our glasses at Optique for years. Fabian has always helped us pick the best frames for us and worked with our insurance plans. He is such a delight to work with and makes us feel comfortable making decisions for our eyewear. All of the staff at Optique are friendly, caring and customer focused. I cannot recommend Optique enough for all your vision needs.

I love this clinic. The front office staff is so great, they are kind and friendly and so willing to work with your schedule. Dr. Schaefer is absolutely amazing. She is is kind and she is so good at her job!! She has helped me so much with my vision changes and my dry eye. She is so up to date and her treatment of my dry eye has actually improved my quality of life.
