Always impressed by the level of customer service here. Was a patient for several years and returned after a negative experience elsewhere. Worth the drive up from Denver. Very accommodating and helpful.

Recently someone I knew went in with a question about insurance and happened to talk to a lady upfront who was extremely rude, condescending, and most importantly unprofessional in how she handled it. A couple simple questions that regard her everyday work. It is unbelievable that stuff like this goes uncommented on by the main physicians when they see it happening. Get your act together.

Jack was so helpful in helping me buy new glasses at this location. They even fixed my old glasses in the meantime while I wait for my new ones. Thank you Jack!!

Dr. Dougherty is an incredibly physician and is the most knowledgable and expert eye clinician I have ever encountered. She has cared for my eyes for decades and provides the best possible support and insight. She is also a wonderful and caring person who is a pleasure to be around. You are so lucky to have her at UC Health.

If you have a serious eye issue, you must see Dr Ertel; she is top of the class. Gabe, who also works at UC Health, is the finest example of a caregiver and expert in his field I ever witnessed; the guy rocks!

I cannot compliment Dr Smith, Dr. Dougherty, and each member of the office staff enough. They all put me at ease, and each person in that office was very helpful and friendly. The Physicians have great expertise in their field, and I would recommend them and their staff highly. I am so grateful to have such good medical care!

I love coming here! They made the transition finding a local doctor very easy being in Boulder for School. Staff is extremely kind and helpful, no other place I would suggest.

Wonderful assistance getting new glasses about a year ago. Today, the team fit me in on short notice to remove a small metal contaminant from my cornea. Rock stars.

Worst experience at an eye doctor ever. Would not recommend. Two visits to different offices, where neither office listened to me explain that their prescription for me was wrong. I tried explaining that my distant vision is perfect since lasik years ago, but within 10-12 feet, but definitely within arm's reach, I need readers. Both offices insisted that correcting my distant vision was needed, due to their eye exam in a 10-12' long room. They refused to listen to the person that's been using those eyes exclusively for 58 years and ought to very well know whether lenses they've prescribed help me see better or not. I never did get an accurate prescription from them. I will look for another doctor and pay out of pocket full price before I go back to this clinic. Absolutely disgusted by their lack of professionalism and the disrespect I was shown - especially by the office inside the hospital.

I’m a new older/patient per family referral. Quite impressed with first visit. Very professional and nice as soon you walk in and until you leave by all staff. Extremely detailed exam (s) with multiple tests and a tutorial on the latest technology used as it applies to you. Dr Nichols was quite knowledgeable and his experience is well earned, his diagnosis was spot on as well as his advice for the future of my Eye Health. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
