This was a very pleasant experience. Was taken in for processing soon after check in. I found the pictures of my retina to be a superior experience to having my eyes dilated for examination. Thoroughly enjoyed being able to review the picture with the doctor and was at my car in half the time and without need of sunglasses as a result. I would recommend Katzen I group for anyone. Everyone is friendly, professional, and thorough. The pictures of the retina are well worth the $39 charge that insurance will not currently cover. In my opinion…

Horribly disappointed that the practice closed and that i as a patient wasn’t notified. I have no way to get my previous records and prescription.

Awesome experience. I’m so undecided and particular about what I want and the sunglasses that I was replacing weren’t made anymore. Lo and behold the ones I chose weren’t carried in the store either, but Ruth happened to have the exact same pair. She took the time to take her lenses out of her own personal pair to let me see how the frames fit and I ended up ordering those. That’s going beyond customer service! Thank you!!!

Friendly staff I had not waited to long before I had been seen by the dr. It’s an amazing place nice really clean environment. Like the staff and the dr. He was explaining everything to me very well and was very polite. I couldn’t have been more happy with them. Dr holt was amazing

Please read the reviews before you come see Dr. Haley. They are well known for overbooking their appointments results in long waiting periods. Dr. Haley definitely needs to work on his people skills. Thank God I found the Broadway eye center. They are like day and night compared to this place.

I was referred to Dr. Stopak over 7 years ago for Lasik (it went fantastic). In fact, so well that I had to be re-entered as a new patient this year because I hadn't needed an eye doctor (shame on me). I returned to Dr. Stopak because I was having white flashes and other vision problems that turned out to be a detached retina. Dr. Stopak was fantastic, he called in a referral to the Retina Group of Washington (ophthalmologists specialize in either the front of the eye (Stopak) or back of the eye(RWG)) immediately, and directed me into the waiting arms of an available doctor at RWG in Chevy Chase within the hour. I had surgery to correct it the next day. This was an extremely nerve wracking situation for me as I was queasy just getting Lasik and I needed scleral buckle surgery. However, Dr. Stopak was incredibly calm, answered all my questions, and I cannot thank him enough for his gentle yet firm direction to get the problem addressed right away as it was serious. In his office, I was handled as a new patient, and intake went just fine (and his office staff was very helpful to the person at the window when I arrived who was trying to work out their insurance requirements). As far as the insurance issues of others... no matter how talented a medical provider, it is unrealistic to think that their front office staff is an expert on YOUR insurance plan. There are thousands of plans, and if we struggle to understand our own, how can you rationally expect anyone to understand yours and everyone else's? Your insurance is your own responsibility, grow up. Vision plans -- in particular -- have huge diversity, and are frequently disappointing. When it comes to getting health care in this country, just assume that you will have to deal with the full responsibility, and fight with your provider on everything. If your provider limits your network access dramatically, then start with their network listing, and select a provider there. But for my eyes, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Receive excellent care from the entire medical team!

Scheduling was easy online. Appointments were available within a reasonable time frame (less than a week). Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Isaacson identified my issue quickly and had good advice for next steps.

Dr. Aguilera is an Awesome Opthalmologist. She's very kind and caring. My daughter has been her patient for years. The icing on the cakes is that she'll never make you wait longer than a reasonable time. They are pleasantly punctual.

My experience at the Nellis Location was professional, friendly, and respectful. This described interaction began with the initial eye exam this young lady was awesome and had the same birthday as I, and Ruth helped me with the eyeglass choice a December baby too and was awesome as well. Choosing staff is a gift and someone had an inside view for theses two ladies. The Doctor was very professional, respectful and informative. I give them all a 5 out of 5. The area of improvement would be a the better first interaction at the reception desk, an engaged focus on the incoming patient/revenue, it took the remaining interactions to turn it around. I would return and you should try this location a try. Thank you Everyone
