Dr. Mastman is very knowledgeable, polite and professional. He patiently answered all my questions and explained the prescription he was going to send to my pharmacy. All the staff members were polite and professional. The woman who checked my paperwork and insurance was very polite and said, “welcome to our office,” when she noticed that I’m a new patient. The medical assistant or nurse was very nice and went out of her way to show me the eyelid scrubs that they recommend. I highly recommend this office.

The doctor deserves a five star. But bad experience with the front desk assistant(a lady in her 50s). Last time she can’t confirm with my insurance so she asked me to pay it first. She said once the insurance went through they would give me a refund. I asked if I could pay with an FSA card she said yes. A few weeks later when I checked with the insurance, the insurance said it went through smoothly. So I called the office to remind them about the refund, they never get back to me. I had to ask my insurance company representative to call them. Then they said they can only give me store credit because I paid with an FSA card. But why didn’t you tell me that you can’t issue a refund if it’s paid by an FSA card? This is so unprofessional. Again, I like my vision doctor. But this experience at Winchester Optometry is not so pleasant.

I used to like Dr. Shui before. I believe she doesn't have enough customers and trying to survive by becoming unethical and greedy. She doesn't send prescriptions for glasses and lenses to other optometrist. She want you to buy every thing with her. I had minor problem with my eyes and needed an eyedrop. She doesn't want to refill that either even though I visited her before a week. She doesn't care for the patients and only interested in making as many appointment as possible and charge many times. After this incidents, I thought about how she works even in regular time. Unlike other doctors, she also requested for my general health insurance and was doing unnecessary tests. She is sweet spoken as long as she can keep charging money constantly out of pocket. Tired of doctors who act like predators to run their business and we are not patient but ATM machines for her. Good luck if she thinks I/my family will ever come back.

The Dr. was friendly and great and took her time with me. I had a terrific experience with my glasses. KEN was especially attentive, patient and helpful with me in picking out the best frame and lenses. While he was taking my exact measurements, he used obvious accuracy and told me “Im going to get you the best pair of glasses you will have ever had” And he did deliver that. I love my glasses and the experience was great Thanks a lot! Dan

I have a doctors not that says I absolutely can not wear a mask, I am not an anti masker at all. I'd have no problem wearing one. I showed them the note when I walked in, they said it was fine. Then afterwards after I payed and had my eye exam completed they told me to see the Dr for the last part I must have a mask on. I showed the note again. And they had me leave without a refund. This place is an absolute joke. And Christina for being a doctor of some kind I'd figure you'd be able to appreciate medical noted from other trained professionals. You wasted my time and now the world will know about it. Stay away from this selfish uneducated woman.

Everyone working was really helpful and polite. Dr. Lam explained all procedures clearly and made the space comfortable to ask questions. Jessica at the front desk gave excellent style advice and broke down my insurance policy and options well. I felt very at ease in the space and I look forward to continuing working with them.

My mom recently visited Target Optical for an eye exam and glasses, and we couldn't be happier. The eye exam was conducted with care, and the doctor was professional throughout. Alexis at Target Optical was incredibly helpful in choosing frames that matched my mom's needs. They had a fantastic selection of frames, and my mom found the perfect pairs for reading and distance. In summary, Target Optical provided an excellent experience from start to finish. We highly recommend their services for quality eye care and stylish frames.

I am so happy that I made the decision to come here. It was a warm welcome from the staff. They were knowledgeable, patient and kind. I didn’t feel rushed when it came to picking out my new glasses and any questions I had they were answered.

I did not have the best of experience. The first time I went, Dr. Carey did spent a good amount of time to complete testing. However, I waited 2 hours before I could even see him. Ultimately, my eye pain improved. However, the second time I visited, I waited another 1.5 hours to see him, and he clearly stated to me that he will not answer some of my questions. I barely spent 5 minutes in the room, after taking half a day off work, and hundreds of dollars on treatment, and being told that he will not answer my questions. I asked if he could call me later with an answer, and he stated he will not. These were common questions - when it comes to the health of the eye, any layperson might be nervous and want to understand. I felt completely rushed and dismissed by the doctor at the end. I don't think any patient should be made felt to be a burden if they have a couple of questions. A patient should not be charged $50 copay for an appt that was only 5 mins and unproductive. Also waiting 1.5-2 hours to see the doctor is just excessive. Dr. Carey may otherwise have good knowledge, but these experiences left me feeling very upset and disrespected as a patient at the end.
