I would caution against recommending this establishment for any eye care needs. The reception desk needs more responsiveness as they frequently fail to answer incoming phone calls, necessitating multiple attempts to establish communication. Although my appointment was not intended to obtain a contact lens prescription, as I already possessed one that was not expired and from a month ago the office insisted that this was the reason for my visit, despite it being otherwise. Furthermore, they persistently attempted to charge me a high amount for the copay yes was outrageous because this was not what I sought from the appointment. It is not to anyone’s liking to be charged for something they did not ask for.. For those reading keep in mind that I’m discussing the principle behind what happened to me not the amount of the copay. During my appointment, while seated, I inadvertently overheard office personnel engaging in similar billing practices with other patients seeking contact lens-related services. This compels me to believe that this establishment engages in unethical conduct to extract financial gain from its patients. They squandered my time by necessitating protracted discussions with my insurance company to clarify my visit's true nature. In summary, I must say that this office conducts itself unethically. The fact this business is defending and rationalizing what they did is disgusting.

Great experience. Very sweet eye doctor! Loves his job and wants you to have the best prescription for contacts. My boyfriend and I both visit him.

I’ve made several visits with Dr. Beede and have always had great service. The team communicates promptly and scheduling appointments is a breeze. Most importantly, Dr. Beede is patient, gives clear explanations, and always answers any questions I have. On one occasion, two local pharmacies made errors on a prescription sent from Dr. Beede’s office (through no fault of Dr. Beede and his team). Dr. Beede addressed the pharmacy’s errors promptly, explained the situation, and made sure that the issue was resolved. Put simply, I know that I’m in good hands with Dr. Beede. Highly recommended!

Great Dr. who knows her stuff! Honestly the best eye doctor I have had yet. Will be returning every year! Only sad part is about the selection of glasses. There really isn't that much and its expensive. I also learned there are no returns so we will be purchasing from somewhere cheaper. We couldn't return my spouse's pair after the frame was uncomfortable and even with insurance we spent quite a lot. Still, I highly recommend for the doctor!

I have been a loyal customer in this doctor office for more than five years. Dr Ngo is the best doctor I have met in bay area, is very knowledge and sharp, she know what she is taking about. One thing is to improve is the selection of frames which I hope to expand more in the future.

Great service and friendly staff, the office is clean with well maintained equipments. Dr Ngo is very knowledgeable, she will explain everything to you thoroughly. Good thing is you can book an eye exam appointment on their website, no need to call in.

Seriously need to get better staff that actually do their job, I called to see if they can tighten my daughters glasses and she asked me when did I get the glasses and I told her I’m not sure maybe a year, instead of checking my information, like she should she said well if it’s over a year we can’t because warranty past a year… so I asked her if she can actually check instead of guessing…. Get staff that do their job properly.

The receptionist was very rude , she wanted to charge me even for an appointment!! The whole staff wouldn't say or do anything, wouldn't recommend this place when there's more with better customer service

Been going to Berryessa Optometry for the past 23 years and they take really good care of you. First I had Dr. Lim as my Optometrist & he was great! For the past 22-years, I've been seeing Dr. Hung Mac and he is AWESOME! He is very attention to detailed, warm, caring and very personable. Recently he prescribed some much needed glasses to help me read my cello music since my old prescribed glasses weren't working. Huge Difference! Staff is great, their place of business is very clean, plenty of parking. A+ eye care! Would highly recommend.
