First time here was a delight! Everything was perfect - doctor and staff. Dr. E delivered a great experience and Autumn listened to exactly what I wanted. After trying on many frames, I went back to the one she originally chose for me. They handled insurance paperwork and glasses were ready soon after my purchase. A breath of fresh air in a stale world! Second time was as good as the first! Very professional, efficient & knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend them! Christine D.

Good people here. I'm very pleased over the past 4 years. Thank you. The doctor is down to earth and thorough. They didn't have excessive oppressive practice during the lockdowns. Pricing is fair. Parking is sometimes limited because they're in a busy shopping center, but I never have to park too far away. Overall great optometrist.

Didn't have an appointment and was able to get in for same day exam + fitting. Front office staff was kind and helpful. Ended up getting fitted for a few new pairs of glasses. Michaela was incredibly helpful and attentive, and has been super on top of follow up concerning delivery dates, etc. Rarely write reviews but had a great experience here :) !!

Dr. Kling and his staff are amazing. I am never rushed, and he explains every detail as well as answers several of my questions with a smile. I am also very pleased with his new check off sheet that the patient gets to take home. It is very helpful to me, and I can add notes to it for future exam questions. Always a great experience!!

I am very happy with my recent visits to Invision Optometry. I went for an eye exam + contacts and left feeling that I was very well taken care of. Everything from start to finish is very smooth, on time, etc. Dr. Ordonez is top notch in her field, and very personable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. Brenda, an assistant who helped me throughout, was so caring and truly made me feel like I mattered in their office. Both of these folks are true assets. 100% will be back.

This is more about an employee at check in and out her name is Deanne and since the minute I ch cked in and checked out she was on it. Checked me in fast answered all my questions. She was sweet and when I needed water offered me not one but 2 bottles. When it was time to check out she also checked me out quick offered to print out my follow up appointment. Was kind as can be

I was new to the area and wanted to establish care at a reputable optometrist since I have some severe dry eye problems. I arrived at my appointment only to be told by front desk that they didn't take my insurance and that I could pay out of pocket for this visit if desired. I agreed since I drove an hour to get there and thought it would be worth it. When I got home, I double checked my insurance and it turns out the front desk was wrong, and I had paid out of pocket for no reason other than the fact thay they made a mistake. Long story short, I have been given the runaround multiple times by their billing department and doubt I will ever get my money back as it has already been about 4 months. Very disappointed that their mistake left me about $200 short. Lesson learned: Just because they are affiliated with "UCSD" doesn't mean you will get better service or care. I got the opposite of that.

“IF” you can find another eye institution, I would advise you to do it. This place is incompetent. I read the other notes. But I have not witnessed anything but delays. We had been told to be on time for the cataract surgery. We arrived 30 min early. Our appointment was for 12:30. We then proceed to wait over 2 1/2 hours without any information from staff as to why the delay. And we were not the only ones waiting hours. At the recovery room, I complained about the delay. The nurse stated they get many complaints about the huge delays and without any staff contact. For post op appointment we were told to come in early by 8:00. We had a 9:30 appointment. But to avoid lengthy wait come in early. We did and you can guess the result. Once again sitting and waiting over an hour and still nothing. We are almost at our regular scheduled appointment time.

As always, the staff is knowledgeable, efficient and friendly and Dr. Sandoc is an amazing, thoughtful and perceptive optometrist who inspires confidence in her exams and her diagnoses. She is extremely competent and well educated in the field of eye care!
