Very unprofessional, unorganized, rude, disrespectful and not helpful. After I was scheduled to be in their office at 8 AM and it was a referral from Ryan White they did not find the referral and refused to let me see the doctor. A simple phone call to Care Resource after the doctor visit would’ve been sufficient. However, not only did i not see the Doctor, I was told if I was unsatisfied with my insurance maybe I should get new insurance. I then left a review stating how unsatisfied I was. After speaking with Care resource, they said I should try to reschedule in this office. I was told That THEY feel uncomfortable taking me in. Everything could’ve been avoided. Had someone done their job correctly and found the referral that was sent to them directly from the doctor. There’s no way to miss it and there’s no way to mess it up unless you just don’t know what you’re doing. How dare they say they feel uncomfortable when I was the one who drove all the way to their office at 8 AM in the morning, signed my entire life away with 7000 pieces of paper that I had to consent my life away to. And then sat there in the office and never saw the doctor then harassed and told I should get new insurance and they feel uncomfortable? Someone management was in that office should reach out to me and try to do the right thing instead of refusing me the treatment that I need. But because they’re completely unprofessional and rude, they have decided to refuse me and here is the review.! I hope that you enjoy this review Elgurt Eyecare, because everyone’s gonna see exactly how unprofessional and disgustingly rude you are to patients sent to you through Ryan White and Care Resource. I guess if I had Blue Cross Blue Shield They would’ve been delighted to take me…. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this office. It was absolutely the worst experience of my life and dealing with these rude ladies on the phone that don’t know what they’re doing or don’t know how to perform. Customer service is absolutely mind blowing. Whoever is the office manager there needs to get their stuff together and train the team correctly to avoid further discrepancies! I will never try to reschedule with this office and my suggestion is you don’t either! I will be filing a discrepancy with Ryan White towards this office.

I was visiting my family from out of state and had an emergency where my glasses broke the day I was supposed to go home. I scheduled an appointment with this pearle vision location and hoped for the best. The optometrist who did my eye exam was very wonderful, polite, funny and witty. I explained my situation to him and he assigned me to a girl named Jay. She was extremely polite and kind. She helped me through the whole process and was very knowledgeable on her job. I got anti-glare for the first time because of her and now it’s easier for me to drive better at night. The best part is that they were able to make me my glasses in an hour so they legitimately saved my day and week because I wouldn’t have been able to see at all. I am extremely grateful to this store.

What a wast of time these guys are so unprofessional, your better off going to Walmart. Absolute zoo.

Lisa in the Optical department was fantastic! She was patient with me and my husband in weighing our options in choosing glasses and applying our insurance. Additionally, she gave helpful advice for navigating pricing, deals, and our insurance coverage so that we got the best possible pricing. Her professionalism and service is unmatched!

I Called, they picked up. Asked for a fax number to send info. Transferred me. Waited. They picked up. Asked for a fax number. “Please hold” waited… they hanged up after coming back. I Called again (maybe the phone call dropped) picked up the call hanged up. Remove your number if your not going to answer the phone

Dr. Shotwell did the most thorough eye exam I've ever had and did an amazing job explaining the results of that exam. She left no stone unturned as they say and I’m happy she didn’t. If you’re looking for a real professional who knows her stuff you’ve found her right here in Sarasota.
