My hispanic mother went and the white man at the front desk didn't greet her, looked her up and down, gave attitude, rushed when choosing glasses, but greeted and smiled at the next (white) people that walked in, I looked through these reviews at noticed everyone who has had a good experience is predominantly white. Only went because it was the only placed near accepting her insurance. Would not recommend this place unless you're white.

This optometrist is amazing!!!! He fixed my kid's broken glasses in about 5min, and only charged me $5. The glasses weren't even from his shop and I just walked in the door without knowing them at all. See, I went to Walmart to get the glasses fixed first, and they sent me to this optometrist. A few customers also chimed in and said he was the best in town. He also has an eye glass cutter machine so you can put the lenses in another pair of glasses if he can't fix the frames in store. Really blew me away. Highly recommend!!!! We will make this our optometrist of choice from hereinafter!

My mom had a wonderful visit. The staff is super friendly. They were wonderful with my mom. The glasses selection was great. The doctor was extremely professional and patient. The office runs very efficiently and we were in and out in 1.5 hrs.

Me and my sister came here for a visit from out of state. While we were here she stepped on her glasses and broke them. Since we weren't from here, someone suggested we should go to Lens Crafters. We didn't have an appt but we went down there and Anita greeted us at the door. We told her what happened and she was so helpful. She actually does my sister's glass right then. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Lens Crafters did an amazing job. We was out the door within 10 minutes utwa. With a fresh pair of glasses. My experience with LensCrafters was good, but there prices are very high. As an example, I have a pair of reader glasses that I needed the lens replaced. LensCrafter wanted over $330.00 to replace the lens and they said they were giving me a 20% discount. I went to Costco and got those same lens for $60.00 dollars. However LensCrafter has name brand glasses but you will pay for them.

Quick and efficient! I showed up early to my appointment by accident and they got me right in! The staff were professional and friendly. Everything was cleaned before and after use. Even with choosing glasses, I was there maybe an hour.

He patiently answered all my questions and provided valuable insights into maintaining my eye health. I decided to opt for a retina scan as my blood pressure is slightly elevated. I wanted to make sure all was well. Thankfully, it was. The environment of the office was calming and well-organized, contributing to an overall positive experience. The waiting area was clean and inviting, and the examination rooms were equipped with modern amenities. I only wear progressive contacts but they have a wide selection of frames that I’m certain will suit everyone’s taste and budget. I would highly recommend Stockdale Optometry to anyone seeking comprehensive eye care. The combination of friendly reception staff, attentive nurses, advanced equipment, knowledgeable eye doctors, and comfortable surroundings truly sets this place apart.

My daughter and I have been patients of Dr. Aoyama for almost 10 years and we wouldn’t see anyone else. He is so patient with my chatty daughter. He’s the best!!!

It was my first time ever getting glasses, the staff is so nice and sweet. I literally walked in one day asked if they had time for an exam and they did it right then and there. They had a deal where if you bought two glasses the exam was free, which usually the exam is $59 I believe. My sales associate Sam was so helpful and sweet telling me tips about glasses and being honest about what frames looked the best on me which I appreciated so much! The glasses came in a week and when they arrived they made sure they fit perfectly. Each time I put on my frames I was constantly told how cute they were which made me feel so much better about needing glasses. Now I have two pairs of glasses one metal frame and one plastic, eye exam was free, 1 year warranty (scratch or break fixed for free) on both glasses other small customs for $350 (no insurance) overall a really great experience and huge selection of frames to pick from. The photo below is the kids selection. The adults had like 6 of those panels not including the luxury frames.

I work long hours so I was looking for a pair of glasses on the website then I noticed they’re open later than most places. Last minute, I decided to walk in to the Ming Ave location. I had an idea of which ones I wanted but then after speaking to Anthony he helped me ultimately decide on which ones would go best with my prescription. He was very helpful and very patient. I even ended up buying a second pair for a great price. After I was done with my purchase I decided to make an appointment for My Wife for an eye exam. She also bought two pairs. It was a great price even with the higher end choices we made. If it wasn’t for Anthony we probably wouldn’t have bought the 4 pairs right way. We like to procrastinate 😅 Overall, what I would have spent on one pair I was able to purchase 4 pairs. Thank you Anthony for all your help, now I can work comfortably.
