The computer dumped my response before I was finished-so I have to start all over again. I didn't realize it had been 2 yrs. since I'd been there. My exam went quicker than expected and I got a great deal on my new glasses-the ins. covered 'transition' lenses! WHOO-HOO!

I loved Affinity until last week. I would have given them a 5 star until then. I had a sudden and severe onset of double vision and went in for an exam and testing. I paid that bill. Then went to the ER and was immediately admitted to the hospital in case it was an aneurysm or stroke. After release four days later I got a call from Affinity that the doctor wanted to do another test and follow up. As I was leaving that visit I was handed a bill for $89 for the test! What??? I was called back by the doctor. I was never informed that there would be additional charges. There typically is not on a follow up. When I called regarding the bill I was told that they had actually given me a smoking deal. So the $89 was a supposed great thing. When I said I thought that was so wrong! I was told that I probably wasn’t a good fit as a client. But that they would delete the payment and mark me off the client list. Wow. What a way to do business! No accountability. I guess if they want to call me in every week for more tests they want to perform, I should just guess how much it is going to be and just shell out the cash!? Really bad business model. Yes, I am not a good fit for your services. I’m not interested in depending on a business that uses a sliding scale with integrity. I may not be a fit for them but they are absolutely not a fit for me!

Service for both eye exam and eyeglass fitting was terrible. Prior to the pandemic, my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Affinity Eyecare. During my latest visits and communications, there was a tremendous level of apathy exhibited by the Doc and staff. Will not return.

Been a patient for several years, this visit the best ever - from entry at front office, to initial exam, then meeting new doctor, and the optical center at back, all handled very well. Bravo.

2023 Dr Teeple and staff are great. Highly recommend for your eye care I suddenly developed flashes and floaters in my eyes. I called the office and they were able to get me an appointment for next day. Every one in the office was very nice and professional. Doctor teeple explained everything that I needed to know and explained what I need it to do in case my symptoms got worse. I would definitely recommend this office.

Staff was very friendly & professional. The procedures were explained thoroughly & I was able to ask questions & get answers that helped me understand what the surgery entails. I feel confident that the Dr will do a good job! ** I'm adding to this review as I had the 1st cataract surgery 3 days ago. The staff at the surgery center were helpful, kind, and professional. The procedure went smoothly and I'm very happy with the results! My vision is much clearer and brighter in the surgical eye. There's virtually no pain and I'm happy that the next surgery will be in about 10 more days.

Super happy with the entire appointment! Front desk, Olga, was extremely friendly and efficient! The doc was careful to explain all the findings and offered what I thought to be great plan of attack for those issues. Would highly recommend Tucson Eye!!!

Woke up with swollen and painful red eye. Called Dr Kaufer and they scheduled me asap. The staff is always very professional and accommodating. Dr Kaufer is thorough and very down to earth.

The lead MD and owner seems fine. This clinic is mis-managed and consistently wastes everyone's time. Every appointment I've had has taken 45-hour for basic semi-annual testing and most have started 15-30 minutes late. The last straw was when I called to re-schedule two months inadvance for a 9:15 appt. The confirmation text message also confirmed 9:15 AM. The receptionist, when asked at 9:45, said I had a 10:30Am appt, even though I wrote 9:15 AM on the check-in form (which no one looks at). The response, when I asked to be seen immediately to make things right (and not wait until 10:30) or I could find some other clinic, I was told to find another clinic. The front desk staff blamed a 3rd party appt reminder company, not themselves. If you like service like the DMV and are retired and have all day to spend, and have little self-respect, enjoy.

I love that staff communicated the timeframe of what the visit could take “expect up to 3 hours” and they remind you on confirmation calls and at check in. They are always busy, so it’s understandable. The staff is very friendly and my kids love them. We went to a morning appointment and we’re out within an hour though! And they have a small room in waiting room that plays kids movies and has a few small toys but should bring tablets and toys for the kids and some snacks just in case the visit takes longer
