My experience began after being referred from their sister company American Best, at their outlet at 4625 E Ray Road, who had just given me a same day booking for an eye exam. I was handled very well and the staff there made the experience painless and fun. When it came to picking the glasses, I needed an urgent replacement for my broken glasses. That's when they referred me to the Eyeglass World at Tempe. I was first attended to by KRISTI, just a few minutes before they closed the store. I was not in a position to make payment at the time, but she setup everything in a way that come Monday, I would be able to just make payment and they would start working on my glasses.
When I called back on Monday, Kristi was not in, but KATE who was present on Saturday picked up my case. I was having issues with my cards and Kate was very patient. Eventually she had to step out and my case was picked up by RICHARD, he was patient as well as I kept calling and the cards didn't seem to work. Finally sometime in the afternoon, we had a breakthrough, and the payment was successful. That's when L.T. James picked up my case, and immediately began working on my glasses. I got a call in the evening from Richard, saying that the glasses were ready. He had initially indicated that it might take a bit longer to have them, but thanks to James, they were ready and would be shipped the following day. The next day before noon I had my new glasses. This was just an amazing experience and I would highly recommend both Eyeglass World and their sister company American Best!

I needed a new pair of glasses super fast. Kate was FANTASTIC to work with. She helped me choose a frame that both worked with my complicated prescription, and looked good. She is very knowledgeable and gave me tips and advice while not trying to upsell me, in fact helped me find the best deal, getting a pair of sunglasses as well. Everyone was super nice and made an annoying errand, a pleasant time. I’ll be back for my back up pair.

My dad, Fred Lindy went to this office. They are amazing and took such great care of him. He would write the review, but doesn't have a google account. He cannot say enough of how wonderful the staff is! Thank you for everything!! Truly amazing staff and doctors.

The prescription I was given was way off and they refuse to give me a free exam because it was 9 mo after written. The eyeglass people will accept a prescription up to 12mo old. So, as a result I either pay the eyeglass people a fee for an exam or pay AZ Eye Specialists again but I can't use my insurance til next year now so I have to pay to get glasses. My old Eye Specialist was never this callous about it, but unfortunately he sold his practice to AZ Eye Specialists. Lesson learned....going elsewhere next year.

It is a busy office! But the staff was very cordial, attentive, and helpful. Dr. Grossman was very patient and did not rush through the exam. I have been treated at this office for many years and will continue coming back

I'm disappointed that I was not given a reminder until I called that morning. My visit with the doctor and the assistant we're wonderful. Also I was told to be there 15 minutes earlier than my appointment time. The doors didn't even open 15 minutes earlier than my appointment.

Dr Grossman and all the staff treat everyone with kindness and compassion. They work to make sure you feel confident and comfortable no matter how difficult the problem they are helping you through.

So helpful but also allow you to browse on your own. I brought my four year old in for her first pair of glasses. They were so helpful explaining coverage and allowed us to browse in peace while we looked over the different frames for her. They also brought out and showed us the special tots glasses and allowed us to look over those. I really like how they are receptive to questions but left you in peace if you didn’t have any. The woman who competed our order was so kind and great with my daughter. I especially loved the conversation I had with the woman at the desk who eased my mom guilt over not noticing our child was having vision issues right away. Honestly really lovely ladies in there.
