I am giving this review a 2 because the receptionist was absolutely rude and lacked any sort of customer service. I have been going to this office for many years and it has turned over in ownership a few times and I actually like the doctor, but the receptionist leaves me never wanting to go back. I was in the office a couple days before and was told to come back if the contacts weren't correct. I was told that I could be seen in an hour. I sat quietly in the office and didn't say a word but I was repeated told during that hour that I would not be seen until all the patients were seen because I didn't have an appointment. I didn't argue, I just sat reading my phone. A patient started chatting with me and this receptionist interrupted us to tell me that I wasn't to be talking to other patients. I told her it was none of her business who I spoke to. This doctor would be well served to send this front desk person to some sort of customer service because it's hard to take a bad experience out of your mind, no matter how much you like the doctor.

I went to an ophthalmologist at SIEGHT who had his assistant do a prescription for glasses. He never checked her work then rudely told me I have glaucoma, which I don’t. Won’t go there again. I had the script filled at Costco. I just couldn’t see well at all, so Costco suggested Dr Ashfaq right there adjacent to them. He was amazing. He redid the exam, finding the SIEGHT script was way off. I took Dr Ashfaq’s script to Costco and they put the proper lenses in my new frames for free! TaDa! Perfect vision. Thank you, doctor, for being exacting and thorough.

I am absolutely blown away by the exceptional customer service I experienced at this establishment. I found myself in a bit of a predicament, desperately seeking a place to repair my glasses. It was Labor Day, around 6:00 pm, and I was starting to lose hope. That's when a kind soul recommended this place to me. Upon entering, I was met by Martha, and her determination was truly inspiring. She didn't let the late hour or the holiday deter her in any way. With remarkable efficiency, she swiftly took action and, before I knew it, my glasses were fixed in the blink of an eye. Martha's dedication to her work and her commitment to helping customers like me in their time of need left me truly amazed. I can't thank her enough for her outstanding service, and I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in need of prompt and excellent assistance.

Jessie was the biggest help I’ve had in the longest time! I came in not able to see a thing and brought my prescription in and had glasses in less than an hour which she helped me choose durability with small children and cost effectiveness as well. Her personality was radiating and her willingness to help me was a breath of fresh air! Give this girl a raise because she deserves it! Anyone in need of glasses should ask for Jessie. Of course everyone there was friendly but I was lucky enough to get with Jessie.

I was extremely satisfied with my visit to LensCrafters. The employees were extremely helpful in finding the style that would fit my frame and were the perfect balance of assisting when needed. I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes with the perfect pair of glasses! Seriously, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new pair.

I found Dr. Tsai to be very knowledgeable and likeable. He shows a genuine interest in his patients. He was recommended by my daughter and I would definitely recommend him to others. His office staff was also very welcoming and accommodating. As I left, I felt totally satisfied with the attention, respect, and thorough care I received. I will return.😀

Dr. Thomas Tsai and his staff are all top notch. In my opinion, he is one of the most thorough optometrists in Fredericksburg and he truly cares about his patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Tsai since 2017 and I see no need to ever look elsewhere for my optical needs. Awesome work Dr. Tsai & Team!

Dr. Tsai is a wonderful doctor who cares about your ocular health. He is patient and works with you to help you get contacts in and makes absolutely sure that your prescriptions are perfect. I've been going here for years and will continue to use Dr. Tsai.

The Damiani's are truly a humble, outstanding and professional couple both of whom welcomed me into the office with genuine smiles and firm handshakes. I felt totally at peace with them! Not only were they extremely polite in their duties, they were helpful as it related to sharing cooking tips for Pho. I thoroughly enjoyed the eye exam experience because of their dynamic as a couple.

The optometrist Dr. Damiani was excellent. He was very thorough and spent plenty of time, not rushed. He helped me get the prescription just right so that my new lenses are perfect. Call in for an appt. regardless of whether you get your glasses at Penneys or elsewhere. I will definitely return for future exams.

I absolutely love JC Penney Optical in Spotsylvania Mall. The employees are delightful and attentive. They have an extensive selection of quality glasses. I go there when they have the 2/$99 special that includes no line bifocals because I feel like that price can’t be beat.
