The entire staff is extremely rude over the phone and not friendly in person either .. from the time they answer the phone cut you off and transfer to greeting and leaving the office is horrible!.. I liked Dr Izer but the rest of the experiences with the staff was the same every time. I had been contemplating transferring but decided to give them one more try to today and the person who answered the phone AGAIN nailed the coffin closed!..

I came to this office earlier this year, they rushed me in and rushed through the appt. Staff was not very friendly. Was made to feel like the last customer holding them up from getting off of work even though they were supposed to be open for another 3-4 hours after my appt. My prescription was backwards and my contacts were blurry. I was told it was my eyes adjusting. It definitely wasn't. I have been to different locations in GA from this same company and had a great experience. So I was excited when I moved to Montgomery and saw there was one here. But I quickly learned that the service here is NOT the same! I Will NOT be back to this office!

Update: Their social media rep decided to call and offer to make everything right as long as I pay a copay difference of $27. That's right! As long as I pay to correct their mistake, they'd be happy to fix it! So, I'll also attach pics to show that I've ALREADY paid for what I wanted, but never got it because THEY put the order in wrong, so now I have to pay to fix their mistake. Don't even go for the exam. They don't care about their clientele. They just want to bill insurance.
The optometrist herself was great, very friendly and seemed to want to help. That's about the end of the praise. I ordered a nice pair of glasses, opted for the blue tint, anti scratch, the whole package. To bad when they came in, they had neither of those coatings, nor did the staff bother to make sure they fit. No worries, I'll adjust as I go! Except the scratches became the focal point after the first time I cleaned them. I called to ask about the coating, and was basically told too bad, you accepted them, no refunds. Go for the exam, skip buying anything or trusting any of the other staff.

This is my first visit. I had no idea about this clinic. All I knew is I needed an eye doctor for me and my son. My wait time was probably 15 mins. The staff was so professional, friendly, thorough, and detailed. I felt welcomed from the front door and during the procedure. The female doctor was patient with my small child and talked my child through the entire procedure. The office is clean and the doctor was wiping down everything and sanitizing. I like that alot. My only draw back is I didn’t know that “taking pictures of the back of my eyes” is not covered by my insurance. Nobody told me. Which means I paid more than I had plan to. I suggest as they are doing procedures on you, ask if your insurance cover it. I was left alone to pick out the glasses. Other than that I highly recommend this office for your eye visit. I will be going back. I’m glad I found this office online.

Great employees,I actually enjoyed my cataract surgery here,they were all so comforting and knew exactly what to do,we chatted while waiting on the s
urgury ,all while these wonderful ladies were doing their job. Shoot,I'd go back just to see them again! And in today's medical field,that's really saying a lot!

The surgery only lasted about 15 minutes. Everybody is very professional and wait on every need you might have and answer every question. I would highly recommend them highly recommend them

I had a 3:20 appointment. I arrived way early (like 40 minutes early) but still was not called back until around 3:40 and that only to get the drops to start dilation. However, a girl came in with her dad around 3:30. While my eyes were dilating, (waiting in the lobby) she was called back. I overhead them say she was there to see if she needed glasses which I'm assuming would include dilation. I finally got called back - took forever for McFaden to come in. You could hear talking in the hallway and it sounded like the Dr and the girl's dad. When I finally got out of the office (4:40) no one was in the parking lot except for one car....so maybe there was one person left in the office finishing their exam. But how did the family at 3:30 get ahead of my appointment and get finished????? If they were late, they should have been worked in.
They are soooo slow here and for one optometrist, they definitely overbook. Who wants to sit in a waiting room with everyone coughing????
I will be looking for another place as well.

I am with my mom. My mom likes the care but the waiting room is like cattle. 18 people in a space 15 square feet is a little more than ridiculous and disrespectful of patients and their family’s ( caregivers) time. An hour later after her appointment and we are still waiting to see the doctor. Patients are giving each other the “ I know it’s crazy that we are still waiting but what can we do “ look. I see from reviews below that this is not a new issue but it does not seem important enough to modify their scheduling template. We will really try looking for another eye doctor just because of this.

I've only had one appointment and my experience was wonderful. I had a full eye examination and was scheduled for surgery. On the day of my scheduled procedure I needed a medical release therefore the surgery didn’t happen and was supposed to be rescheduled, but from that day I have not heard from Montgomery Eye Physicians. No explanation as why they're not providing me services. I have called several times to inquire but to no avail, no answer, nothing. I will move on and find a doctor who can at less give me an explanation.

Dr. Marshall and his staff are always so friendly and professional. The office is so convenient since I work downtown.
