Great service! I had a stye that became very infected, causing swelling in my face. I needed emergency surgery (referred from Medhelp on 280), where they drained the area and gave antibiotics. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The surgery was done with local anesthesia so I was in & out in under 2.5hrs on a Saturday. I didn't want to have to go but was happy for all of the help I received! I'm doing so much better after just a few days.

I went there a year ago in agony with an eyeball that was full of splinters. I had already seen my primary care doctor that day and he said I would have to see an ophthalmologist, so I rushed to Callahan. They made me wait 7 hours, even though they had told me there was only one person ahead of me. Numerous people came in after me, and every one of them was seen before me. I asked the receptionist if I had been forgotten, but her response was, "No, we've just had so many emergencies." I saw all those people come in, and I heard their stories and not one was an emergency like mine. The difference was obvious, though. They were all the same color as the receptionist, and some of them, she even knew as friends. I would DIE before I would go back there. Giving this facility one star is actually an exaggeration. The three doctors who worked for hours to remove all the splinters from my eye were wonderful, though. It's a shame that the place isn't run better. I told my primary care doctor of my experience and he said he knew what it was like and had tried to warn me, but I knew of no other option, because it was late in the day.

A great experience from beginning to end. Dr. Parker is extremely talented and thorough. He exudes confidence and is compassionate in his ability to satisfy patient needs. He took the time to discuss the results of the eye exam. His staff is extremely courteous and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Parker for eye care.

As usual Dr. Parker did an excellent job. You feel he really cares and is concerned. Can’t say enough good things about him. I really like the office staff. It is peaceful in the waiting room and I have seen the staff help people sign in at the kiosk. The other staff members who help Dr. Parker are efficient, friendly and put you at ease. Overall a fantastic office and doctor.

Very pleased with Dr. Parker and his entire staff. Everyone was very cordial and they explained everything to me. Then the Dr went into detail and then ask if I had any questions. Very pleased.

My family has gone to Dr. Owen for years. He is a phenomenal surgeon and an amazing doctor. His staff always go out of their way to make appointments effortless.

I’m sure he’s a great doctor but I was never seen after waiting for an hour and had to leave.

I have been going to Dr. Owen for well over 20 years and he has always done an amazing job of taking care of me and my family. He is very thorough and he will explain everything to me that I need to know. If I have any questions, he explains things very well. His staff is great. They are very positive and always helpful with any questions or needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Owen.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. William Ehrlich! From my first visit over a year ago to the several visits before and after blepharoplasty surgery 3 weeks ago, he has been rock solid as a professional, but more importantly to me just a compassionate person. He is so gentle natured - not the least bit cocky or aggressive like some doctors tend to be. My eyes are very important to me, so I had a lot of questions. Not one time has he been the least bit dismissive. His pre-surgery protocol kept me from having any bruising after the surgery. And the gals who work in unison with him are just as kind and compassionate as he is. I just cannot say enough positive things in regard to my experience with the good people at VisionAmerica in Homewood. I feel very blessed to have found Dr. Ehrlich and the team of professionals at VA. And my peepers are already looking good!

I had LASIK done with Dr. Albright and was thrilled with the results and impressed with their practice. Staff are professional and the office is clean and nice. Wait times were acceptable. Dr Albright is personable and knowledgeable - he takes the time to explain everything and inspires confidence. I would recommend him to others!

They take really good care of my dad. He's been up here several times in the past year, and every time he's greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. My dad had cataract surgery 1 year ago, and they did everything within their power to make the process as painless as possible, not only for my dad, but for his family as well. On this last visit, my dad was particularly upset because he thought he was losing his sight. Fortunately, the doctors were able to diagnose the issue correctly and tell him that it was simply fogginess caused by the residue of his cataract surgery. They performed a simple outpatient procedure. By the end of the day, his vision had improved tremendously. Thank you so much to the doctors and staff for their impeccable care of my dad.
