This was the best eye exam I have had in years! Dr. Giovannone, was beyond thorough. In addition to a dialation of my eyes, she asked many health questions. She took her time and I never felt rushed! I also received excellent help in choosing my new frames. I can't wait to get my new glasses!!!

Everyone there is very polite, and respectful. My ophthalmologist and her assistant were professional yet personable, making me feel comfortable from the very start. It's been a while, but my memory of ophthalmologists is one of aloofness and professionally friendly, not the warmth to which I was treated.

They were so helpful and sweet! I loved going in and getting support from them. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Jeff in particular was AMAZING!!!

Dr. Patel is one of the best all-around doctors I have ever had. She has a busy practice but you always feel like she is never rushing you and she always has time to listen to your concerns. She is extremely knowledgeable in what she does and explains procedures so that you can understand what’s going on. I highly recommend her!

I have seen Dr. Fullenkamp for years now. I am always impressed with his exam thoroughness and he has a good sense of humor.

WATCH THIS Company concerning your BILLING! You obtain coverage for your visit. The laziness of the company and NOT contacting ALL BILLING PARTIES before just throwing bills on innocent patients. If some patients fall for this FRAUD of these irresponsible people, I guarantee they will take funds from innocent Disabled people & Still obtain from the CORRECT BILLING PARTY; wouldn’t Refund the disabled/elderly funds back. They Most likely will STEAL FROM INNOCENT PEOPLE! The UF Students aren’t the Best. Might be better to cancel the NEXT appointment. Allowance of more ignorant students is making the company look bad.

These people are really good at their job. I had been seeing another eye doctor for several years, and struggling with my prescription. It was changing all over the place, and frequently I was having major eye strain. They figured out why my other eye doctor had struggled, and got me a new prescription that has been a million times better. There is a reason they are all 5 star reviews! On the insurance front, I was able to submit my exam fees to my insurer. The insurance company has been terrible about it and required an appeal, but will ultimately reimburse. I actually waited to write a review until I heard back from insurance... 6 months later. Honestly though, these people are so fantastic that if my eye insurance wasn't free through my employer, I would drop it and just stick with them. The eye exam fee was in line with what I have seen elsewhere in town, and reasonable given the quality of service. One last note, I can't speak to the quality of the glasses they carry at their location. I took a look, but none of their frames were quite my style. I tend to prefer thin, metal and rimless frames, and their frames are more fashion forward, heavier plastic frames. Definitely stylish, just not my thing. They tried to see if they had something I'd like, but weren't pushy once they realized it wasn't what I was looking for. All in all, a great experience and I will be back! Finding providers that aren't just OK, but are great in ABQ is hard; this is one of the great ones.
