When I picked up my glasses and sunglasses, they put the wrong prescription in my sunglasses!!! And the glasses didn't seem too good either. She told me to fresh start wearing them the next day. Next day it wasn't that great, couldn't see small print and they kept slipping down on my nose. Got sunglasses back and I can't see small print as well. Since I had someone else do my prescription they told me to go back to him and see if he wrote me the right script. So I will do that, but I'm Not Satisfied, I'll most likely return them for a refund. Don't Trust them to redo my lenses.

We have a Advantage Plus membership, get my prescriptions at Sam's Club pharmacy, & spend at least a few hundred dollars each visit (weekly or bi-weekly).
So when I had broken glasses, we went to Sam's club optical center.
After being told I was unable to get contacts there because they did not have contacts for my astigmatism, I got a regular eye glass exam & ordered glasses through Sam's Club.
I ordered transition lenses, polycarbonate, glare resistant, scratch resistant, rolled edges, smooth bifocal. Was told the glasses would arrive in 7 to 10 days.
So the next week, we stopped to check on my glasses. They had not arrived yet. We were told they should be coming in during the week. So we stopped by again the next Saturday, when we were rudely told my glasses still had not arrived, & I needed to wait 7 to 10 days. I told him the date, figuring he could do the math...it was over 10 business day, but he replied, "7 to 10 business days". I explained it was 10 business days.
So he then looked in his computer & told me that they were out of my frames.
Why didn't they tell me this when I ordered the glasses, or when I was in the week earlier?
No apology, just rudeness.
The next week, when I went to pick up my glasses, she just gave them to me & told me to wait until I got home to wear them because I was wearing my broken glasses, & she said going from those glasses to the new glasses may make everything fuzzy. I had been wearing glasses since age 7, & this is the first time anyone told me anything so rediculous.
She did not check to see if the glasses fit correctly, nor did she check my eyesight in these glasses..
I am wearing my glasses now & constantly have to push them back up onto my face, I get reflection & glare, the edge is not rolled, & usually at least once a day, I take off my glasses so I can see something.
I am hoping this center gets their act together for the sake of future customers.
Editing this as I phoned, made an appointment & went back yesterday. Even though the glare on my glasses is obvious, I was told antireflective coating on on lenses, but the reason it reflects is because of type of lenses I have that are thinner than polycarbonate.
Optometrist was insulted that I wanted to be double checked as he claimed he was correct the 1st time, & told me to just go to someone else.
Wish I had known this before I went the 1st time, so consider yourself warned.
So I will be taking his advice to go someplace else, then going back there to return the current glasses I bought at Sam's Club.

Was denied service even though I brought in a valid prescription, they still wouldn’t sell me contacts. Good luck doing business with a place like this. Wish I could give zero stars.

We have had the best experience at this vision store location over the pass 12 years with our now 17 year old twins and our 11 year old daughter. They have always been so kind and understanding with our children and wonderful with their prices. They have always been our first choice for eye care!

Went to West Mifflin Vision Center to get an exam and new lenses. While the exam went well, the lens process was a total failure and ended with with me walking out in total disgust. The employee who waited on me for lens had no idea what he was doing. He went to another employee 6-8 times asking questions about how to write the lens order. After sitting for over an hour waiting for him to write the order, I left the vision center and will go somewhere else to get my lenses and frames.

This place has an employee that talks to children without their parents consent. Do not ever talk to my child again
We weren’t even in the glasses store. Mind your own business thanks.

Service was good, my main issue is that I was asked to do a test that wasn’t covered by my insurance that I had previously had with another doctor. I explained this and the doctor said that is fine. His aid then comes in a few minutes later and tells me there is another test that is covered by the insurance and o agreed to it.She said this to me twice. They look at the test hold the data for the next time. There was no real point as they had nothing to go by previously and they were apparently not listening to me. After I pick my glasses and go out front to pay I then find out I Am being charged for the test after all. I did not appreciate that at all and do not trust offices that operate in that fashion and will not return.

Had my first appointment here today & am very pleased with my experience! This will be my new regular optical office.
When first walking in the door, it is easy to feel a little underwhelmed by the small “lobby” area. However, if you look past the smaller size of the office, you’ll notice how nice the place really is.
Really, the smaller space offers an advantage, as the staff are more alert to exactly what gets touched, and are incredibly vigilant to sanitize every surface, and pair of frames, that are touched by anyone. The entire place is very clean and well- lit.
In addition, the staff were very attentive to ensure accessibility for wheelchair users in the space provided.
The environment, and staff, is very welcoming, and it all feels very “homey”. The doctor I met with was incredibly kind and professional, and took care to make me feel very safe, comfortable, and informed.
As it initially didn’t seem like there were many frame options on the wall, I was unsure, at first, if I’d actually be able to find a pair in stock that looked, and fit, well with my face. However, upon actually taking the time to look around, I realized that there were many in-style options available, including men’s, women’s, kids’ and sunglasses. I was able to find a beautiful frame for a transitional pair of lenses, fairly quickly!
Long story short, if you are looking for a new optician, give this place a try!! Don’t focus on the size of the space, but rather the quality of the office as a whole.
Thanks so much to the doctor & staff with whom I interacted today!!
