The best ophthalmologist on the planet - bar none. A full exam takes hours, but his expertise is worth it.

Yesterday I had vitrectomy eye surgery with Dr. Thomas Hessburg. It couldn’t have been a better experience! Absolutely wonderful! Everyone was kind and helpful from his staff and the staff at Cottage Hospital. I had the other eye done somewhere else 3 years ago and it wasn’t such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Hessburg for his expertise, competence and professionalism.

The staff was very friendly upon my arrival. Monique was exceptional. She was knowledgeable and efficient. Excellent sales person. Very personable. Appears to enjoy her job. Dr Gay was very thorough and explained everything to me. I ve been going to the Mack location for several years. I intend to continue.

I had gone through the wringer getting an appointment for my daughter with multiple locations. The gross point location was able to offer me a same day appointment with no problem! We got there, the customer service was great, the doctor was quick but efficient, the staff was helpful. My daughter had a great experience picking out glasses for the first time! Thank you!

I’ve been here twice and also to the Warby Parker in Ann Arbor. At this one, it’s always an incredibly pleasant experience. The staff really go above and beyond to make you feel like you’re getting a top notch experience. Keep doing what you’re doing! And the way you train staff is awesome!
