I have to be honest, I am not very happy with our experience at this practice. We have had our appointments cancelled several times by the office, always very last minute, sometimes on the day of our appointment, including just a few hours prior. We live about an hour away, so this is extremely inconvenient! Our daughter also has special needs, so we were instructed to first give her a sedative before being seen, and this happened on a day that they cancelled on us, because apparently the doctor wasn't in. Why schedule patients when the doctor isn't available? How did they not know this until the morning of our appointment? We are a very busy family, with four children & cannot afford to waste our time/gas like this, or have our daughter miss school for no reason! We also felt that the doctor didn't seem very comfortable with young children, despite being told otherwise. I've noticed in other reviews, that we are not the only ones who have had issues with them cancelling short notice & always rescheduling. We are planning to explore other options closer to home. Regardless of how patients feel about the doctor, it is very unprofessional for anyone to cancel constantly! People have lives & are busy. This isn't something I have encountered elsewhere & am not very pleased. Especially for families like ours who aren't local & must travel. A little consideration goes a long way!

First doctor to make me tear up due to his generosity. Great sense of humor. Very thorough with explaining what he’s about to do. Can’t recommend him enough.

Dr. Gise's totally the best , wonderful and caring! My family has been seeing him for over 40 years, each one of my family members and extended family members have seen Dr. Gise's there entire lives , both the doctor , and his staff. Dr. Gise's opened his office in the middle of the night to save my oldest sisters eye , because she accidently got nail clue in her eye instead of eye drops I'm her eye, Dr. Gise's saved her eye , and a alot of patients differently, and he still remembers this today ! Highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for an eye doctor from babies to older adults.

My experience has been pleasurable with Dr. Meltzer. He is kind and caring and more concerned with patient care. My eye surgery was quick and painless and he literally saved me thousands of dollars from a previous quote. It is a very busy office with a significant number of professional and administrative staff. Although quite busy, their care is thorough (underlined). I am particularly impressed with their ability to speak several languages to assist their patients. Dr. Meltzer's patient philosophy is quality of care first. If you are looking for a first or second opinion, I suggest Dr. Jeremy Meltzer.

After over ten years of loyalty to Jeremy, my husband requested a return phone call regarding a chronic eyelid lump that he had continued to treat with ineffective medication. He refused to consult with my husband without another office visit. We sought out another, more competent doctor, who treated the condition with a simple 20 minute procedure and it has cured the condition. My 90 yr old mother went to him for continuing treatment, after relocating to New England, made it clear she was not looking for a lot of new tests, just maintenance, he completely ignored her wishes and tried to plead his case to me. It was that situation that led me back to the same doctor that cured my husband. Although Meltzer's office was much more convenient, we all agreed we would never set foot in his office, again, and would be switching for good. Meltzer seems to be only interested in keeping his patients on the hook for services he continues to get paid for.

Dr. Meltzer operated on my eye for cataract removal, and from beginning to end, with his excellent staff, I was treated with kindness and patience. Their professionalism was perfect, and I had clear and brilliant vision the day after surgery. Dr. Meltzer inspires confidence, and performs accordingly.

Scott could not have been nicer or more patient with my Mother-in-law. She is a tough lady but she liked Scott! He walked her through each option and there was no pressure to purchase. Clearly the mission is sincerely to help those affected with low vision. I would recommend this "try and buy" experience to anyone who has low vision.
