Dr Desai and her staff were very professional but friendly leaving you with a cozy feeling because you felt that they genuinely cared for you. Dr Desai gave a very thorough eye exam and addressed my issues and concerns. I will share this wonderful experience with my family and friends. Thanks to them all.

I was taken in as an emergency visit for an ulcerated cornea. The staff and doctors were so involved with my care and recovery. After twice weekly visits to see them for a month my eye is just about back in business...I am forever grateful for their patience and knowledge!

So, the appointment was super easy to get into. The visit was quick. And no one else was there(customer wise) I see why the lack of customers I've waited 4 weeks for glasses. And they refuse to cancel so I can actually go somewhere else to get my glasses. I'm calling my insurance on Monday report I still haven't received my glasses.

Staff was extremely friendly and sweet. The service and exams were extremely efficient. I was quite impressed with the process and how well/quickly it flowed. We had been going to a previous provider for years. When Today's Eyecare fitted my daughter with new contact lenses, all she kept saying was "wow! These are so much nicer and comfortable! The old place we used to go to fit me with lenses that were never this comfortable. These contacts feel better made and quality is better." Everything was explained to us thoroughly! Definitely worth the hour drive!!! I'll definitely be back with my other daughter.

Big thanks to Dr. Broussard for your care, professionalism and timeliness. Thank you, Kaeli, for helping me pick out the right contact lenses and discussing the process with me. Thank you, Brianne for the referral, and thank you Shante for making me laugh and feel welcomed! Will definitely be back!

I have glaucoma and I have been seeing Dr. Foreman for years. She is a glaucoma specialist in Lafayette. She is very kind, very knowledgeable about my disease and very supportive. Every time I see her, she is considerate, has great advice for any of my concerns and is always in a good mood. She treats all of her patients with respect. Lafayette is lucky to have her! And the staff in her office is top notch. They are always in a good mode and willing to help. So kind. From Monica at the front desk to Courtnie helping with patients. I ALWAYS get great service! Really every staff member gives great service I just don't interact with them all enough to remember their names. I highly recommend her office. Her office is a blessing to Lafayette!

Dr. Forman is wonderful! She's such a great doctor. Her bedside manner, her expertise, and way of explaining things to her patients all make her our choice as our eye specialist. Acadiana is blessed to have her and her wonderful staff. Everyone there makes Lafayette Eye Specialists a special medical office from the moment you arrive until you leave, you feel taken care of. Thank you.

I choose Lafayette Eye Specialists because I witnessed the service they gave my mom for the past year. After her third followup visit, I schedule an appointment for myself. There staff is awesome. From Tabatha who did the testing to Dr Nwafor who did the final exam to the receptionist. Great Staff!

Stay away from La Haye Total Eye Care. You have been warned. They will never get another penny from me, my family, and our friends. (well they left years ago, i was the hold out). They are trying me blind me. Glaucoma test (last appointment was July 2022 new date is end of Jan 2024) Like others said, wait time is extreme. (I do not even want to talk about the 4 hour wait time and their Air condition was broken at the time, of course widows do not open to let air in) Not only that, my followup appointment was 6 months away, well they moved it another 6 months, well guess what, they need to reschedule again (their eye doctor will not be there) and now next appointment date is over 9 months away. (last appointment was July 2022 new date is end of Jan 2024). Might have glaucoma, good news is caught it very very early. Appointments were set to 6 month visits to check if any pressure build up. Can not wait almost 2 years to see if it is getting worse, by then it maybe to late. Lets talk about the rudeness of staff when looking for new frames for glasses. While i was in there, I asked 2 questions, of course no answers, then the girl just gets up from her desk, looks at me, then turns off the lights and walks out the door/opening (no door). It was close to quieting time, but at least say something. Lets talk about insurance issue. They did not accept my insurance, asked which one they do accept. At 3x the price, I switched to that private insurance company, Well on next appointment, time use the insurance, well guess what, they no longer accept that insurance. This cost me like $600 every visit for horrible service. I am here looking for any good eye care providers I can switch to.

RUDE….that about sums up this office…with the exception of 1 or 2. Front desk staff clearly do not like their job. Surgery scheduler went through so much info in a VERY short period of time and got the pre-surgery instructions wrong (checked the wrong boxes). Woman who comes to take you back to surgery was rude. She actually fussed at my elderly mother for not taking her heart meds prior to getting there when the person who called her the day before told her NOT to (she said just bring them with you in the morning). Luckily she acted like that out of my ear shot. For the money you pay this office you would think you would get better customer service. Clearly that is a mistaken expectation. To top it off, the lady who comes to get you for surgery, first reviews your chart and medical history at a desk that is directly in front of where people are sitting and have a direct sight line to your medical records and personal information as she slowly holds up each page to review it. The desk is one you sit at so it is plenty low enough there are patients waiting just in the other side (like they are close enough to all your information that they could touch it). Guess they aren’t worried about HIPPA.

Be prepared to wait over a month for a contact fitting or for them to even call and schedule one. 2 weeks had passed and they didn't even bother to tell me my contacts were on back order. You may need to call and leave a few voicemails as well to get this information. Never had this issue with other clinics as they would fit me right then and there with the eye exam. Absolutely ridiculous.
Every Review metters. See what people say about clinics.
