The experience was great. Nijel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the frames and lenses. She made my decision process very quick and easy. I will definitely continue to shop at target optical when purchasing frames, lenses, or any other eye products.

My experience at the Baton Rouge Florida Boulevard store was absolutely awesome. They were two ladies, Miss Lindsay, Toby, and Miss Nett what absolutely God sent these ladies cared and made sure that I was totally satisfied help me very well. My experience was very well. I recommend the Florida Boulevard store in Baton Rouge Louisiana to anyone that needs to go for eyeglasses. These ladies will take care of you. Also, the eye doctor is phenomenal. She is great. I visited the store for a new pair of contacts to drive home and I also wanted to order some contacts the young lady that was helping me was so friendly and kind and not to mention the doctor was on her way out and she seen me and she instantly asked if I needed anything she even stop and took a look at the new contacts in my eyes. She is such a sweet,loving,caring and concerned doctor and I love that just to know that her staff is just as helpfully and caring as her gives me so much peace. The young lady also was able to get include my insurance for my contacts and I come out of the pocket with only $15.00 and that was amazing. I will always be a loyal customer to that Vision Works location.

The chick who did the eye exam was very rude. I didn't even get fitted for my contacts due to her attitude. It was my first time having to wear glasses, so I didn't know how to properly look into the things which test your eyes. She kept yelling, being rude, trying to tell me to look into it the right way. I understand there's a certain way you have to sit, but geesh! TELL ME & EXPLAIN THE PROPER WAY, don't be rude about it. The doctor, however, was superrrrr sweet! We talked. She had very great energy and was super positive. When I asked the lady at the counter if my glasses could be mailed to me, she said yes. After purchasing, she advised I would have to come and pick the glasses up. Also, I didn't get a "buy one, get one free" deal yet I've been getting emails about it since the week I picked my glasses up, up until now. I know promos change, but that still makes me upset being that I paid over $300 with insurance & didn't get the 2nd pair free. Overall, the place is ok. & the good customer service outweighed the bad I wish you could get your glasses on the same day or at least have them mailed out, versus having to wait and drive across town two weeks later.

So this morning my spouse was working outside and broke his glasses. It appeared that the bottom of the pense was no longer secured. Even trying at home to repair wasn’t enough. So went here today which was the only location able to fix his glasses today. Was working with alyisha and she explained everything that she could and was very careful with his glasses. She was able to repair the glasses and she did it with an amazing attitude. A+ customer service to this hardworking lady Alyisha.

The prescription was perfect. Lens quality is great. I decided that I did not like my frames after the first few days and was able to make a swap to a different frame. That's a nice option to have because you never know if the frame will be to your liking until you wear it a few times. I will pay a little extra for having that option.

Shout out to Jerry for assisting with my glasses. I wear mono vision contacts, so getting lenses that I can adapt to is pretty difficult. He was patient and had great suggestions. I didn’t feel pressured and I love them! You can tell he had a lot of experience with different lens types. Retail in every business needs more customer service oriented employees who know their products. You have a great one! Thanks.

I've been happy for a number of years with the back end of the biz, that is the eye exams. The front end is...less than solid, not helpful, not client-oriented, not digital savvy. Time for this client to move on.

This place is all about money and also scam you into paying triple the price for anything, they are not customer oriented and lack communication skills. Most of the good reviews are from people that the owners affiliate with such as friends, employees etc.
