My favorite optometrist 😄 …

A local hospital contacted Dr. Lockwood to evaluate my husband after suffering a serious eye trauma. We were not his patients, yet Dr. Lockwood met us at his office late on a Saturday evening to evaluate and perform the necessary tests. He then contacted OSU and provided all needed information to have him direct admitted to ultimately undergo emergency surgery in the middle of the night. His care and expertise were key to getting my husband the surgery that may ultimately save his vision in that eye. He provided very detailed information that assisted in guiding the surgeon and ophthalmology team. He was so kind and compassionate as well as professional and diligent throughout the entire process. We could not have asked for a better experience in the midst of a horrible crisis - we are eternally grateful. We look forward to having our future eye care with Dr. Lockwood.

Stellar! Dr. Lockwood is highly skilled in his craft. He did laser surgery on my eyes to cure my glaucoma. He has been my go-to eye doctor for over ten years. His staff are always friendly, professional and personable. They really care and take whatever time is necessary to keep my eye health at an optimum.

We were referred here from Adena and unfortunately we waited for 90+ minutes before the doctor even seen our client! Two people came after us and left treated and on their way. Not happy at all with the service! We won't be back.

Unprofessional, rude, overbooked. The facility is dirty. Looks like it is rarely cleaned. The doctor's nurse who goes into rooms is rude. I took my father in for the first visit. We had a plan of action and by the third visit they changed the plan, found new info, and the inky reason we found out was because inhad to ask why the plan for treatment changed. We will not be returning.

I have had 5 appointments and everytime they have called the day of my appointment to reschedule to a different time. The doctor has a personality of a brick and always seems to be in a hurry. The nurses are nice, except for the two who did my injections ( one was rude, the other snickered when I said it hurt as they injected my eye.) I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

I had a lovely experience at Midwest Retina Specialists. I saw my optometrist and she found something on my exam that she felt warranted immediate evaluation. They worked me in that very day, were efficient, and reassuring. Ophthalmologists see a shocking number of patients per day, so I wasn't surprised to see such a full waiting room. But they got me in very quickly. The doctor was efficient. I'm not really concerned over whether or not physicians are friendly, but competent. I didn't find anyone to be rude, but they were obviously very busy and I was grateful to be seen. Furthermore, I was grateful not to have to drive to Columbus for this care. I was surprised to have this level of expertise in such a small town. No complaints from me. My copay was reasonable and I was very pleased with the experience in all aspects.

Dr Henderson is caring, personable and thorough. She does not rush through exams. She gives full attention to your questions and issues. She is quick to make time in her schedule when problems arise with her patients. Both my husband and I are very satisfied patients and highly recommend Dr Henderson to our friends and family.

Worked me right in and the staff was awesome. Dr. Henderson was through in the examination and found my eye issue right away.
