I'd gone in to get surgery for a detached retina on August 1st. Dr. Bruce Garretson and his staff did an awesome job of making me feel at ease throughout the entire process!

I love Dr Bloom, he's thorough and listens to you. Never a bad price! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I’ve been wanting to try contacts for a while but never committed to it. My sister recommended I check this place out mainly to get my eyes checked for glaucoma and other potential ailments. I recently made my initial appointment online, which was quick and easy. The staff is amazing! Everyone is professional and welcoming. I was informed during every step of the testing process, so I knew exactly what was happening and what each machine was for. The doctor was extremely thoughtful and thorough. I was able to see a 3D image of my eye, and he explained what I was looking at and how my eyes compared to what the image should look like. I also took the normal eye exam. After everything checked out, I was able to ask any questions and then moved onto trying out the contacts. I was scared of poking myself in my eye, but I did well for my first try (even though it was a bit of a struggle). I’ve tested out the 2 week contacts, and then switched over to daily contacts. After testing both, I decided to purchase a full year’s worth of daily contacts.If you’ve even considered giving contacts a try, it’s worth it. It’s a bit of work in the beginning, but the more you get used to it, the easier it becomes. Give this place a try. NOTE: Depending on the time of your appointment, you may want to arrive 20ish minutes ahead to make sure you can find a parking spot. The traffic in the parking lot is OUTLANDISH, and people are ruthless. It took me about 10 minutes to find a park the first time I went to this office. It’s in a shopping center near a Starbucks, and there’s restaurants and other shops as well.

I have been wearing glasses for over 55 years and probably get an exam & new glasses every 5 years. I always am stressed out trying to determine which lense is better, one or two, etc. I usually can see pretty well with all my previous exams and glasses but never anything I would say was outstanding vision. I recently was in for new glasses because the exam & glasses I just got from my ophthalmologist were terrible! I came in to Costco for exam & glasses that I could see well with Dr. Aneta Gritsaev. What a big difference, she had state of the art equipment and did a fantastic job and spent so much time going back & forth 1or 2 over and over never rushed me even when I had her repeat all the lense choices I wasn’t sure of. It was the longest session I ever had with an exam in all my 55 years of getting glasses. Dr. was so extremely patient and made me very comfortable because of her caring and professionalism. I highly recommend her and also her awesome support staff which unfortunately I don’t recall their names. If you need an exam, glasses or contacts look for Dr. Gritsaev at the Costco in Schaumburg, you will be pleased with the results! If you call for an appointment, ask for her. I don’t know if she is there every day or if other doctors are there sometimes. Bob R.

Highly recommend! I first visited the office with a painful eye abrasion that caused blurry vision. This was extra concerning as I had LASIK done about 10 years ago. I'm thrilled to report the pain went away after my first visit, and my vision was fully restored just a few weeks later. Dr. Mistry was my primary doctor and provided great care through the entire process. She was kind, patient, and clearly explained every step taken to heal the abrasion. The office staff, especially Amman and Peter, also created a welcoming atmosphere during every visit. It's evident the team is fully invested in providing the best possible care!

We did not have a good experience with this Dr. She was recommended by our pediatrician. The wait to get in to see her was over 2 months. When we showed up there was a surprise fee that they told us that the insurance doesn't cover. They said it was a normal part of an eye exam, but we could talk to the Dr about it when we went back to see her. We went back and the Dr basically said the eye exam was pointless unless we paid the fee. At that point we were very upset as this could have been explained to us before even booking the appointment. I let the Dr know about my disappointment and she said that it is on the paperwork that is sent when we scheduled the appointment. Well no, it wasn't on the paperwork, we even double checked later. So at this point we had waited over two months to see the Dr so we just had to agree even though we had no idea what it was for, and why insurance wouldn't cover it if it was a normal part of the eye exam. After completing the eye exam and finding out our son needed glasses, the Dr wanted to see him again in a couple of months to "confirm the glasses and prescription are working out well". To try and not be blindsided again, my wife contacted the billing department to understand what we would need to pay for this appointment. The lady in billing was very combative and said that she would not be able to tell us what we would owe and put it back on us to contact our insurance company about it. She kept cutting my wife off when she tried to reason with her that we don't know what the Dr would want to charge for this appointment. It was the final straw, we are done with this Dr and her practice. Hope this helps someone with picking the right eye Dr for their child.

Doctor S and staff are amazing! So gentle and Dr i S is so knowledgeable. However, the wait time needs improvement. Sometimes a long wait.

Everyone there was very nice. They explained everything during the exam. I was planning to get my glasses that day but, I actually took the wrong health savings card with me and when it would not work they allowed me to leave and call them back with the correct card information. I was so upset about the card situation that I didn’t get the glasses that day but I do plan to go back.. I do plan on returning to them for my next exam. I would certainly recommend them.

Love this hospital got all,the answers I needed in one visit would recommend to anyone Dr's and staff are the best
