Amazing experience. The staff is incredibly kind and professional. Dr. Bogarin is the best optometrist I've ever gotten an eye exam from. Laura and Diana are both incredibly funny and amazing receptionists. Have been coming for years and have never had a single problem. My prescription is perfect every time. Wide variety of frames to choose from. Would 100% recommend.

Highly recommend. Been coming to Old Towne for 20 years. Been with several eye doctors over the years here. All have been very good or excellent. Facility is nice. Technology and equipment is okay. Parking can be a little tough. Great restaurants, library, and shopping across the street. Receptionists are courteous and professional. Chris does the intake and initial testing. He’s been there for 25 years probably. Chris is there most valuable asset in my humble opinion. He has always helped me select my glasses, contacts, etc. And will always go above and beyond with customer service or to help adjust, fix, dial in, or make things right!!

Very good experience from staff to doctor. I was done within an hour from eye exam to consultation. They had good collection of glasses as well.

I was a little nervous because I hadn’t been to the eye doctor in quite a few years but everyone was so kind and helpful. Dr. G and all of the ladies up front were friendly and professional from checking me in, to the exam, to helping me try on numerous pairs of glasses. I appreciated their tips and encouragement to make this a smooth process for me.

Hands down the best optometrist experience in central Iowa. Lisa was amazing and did the most accurate exam I’ve ever had. She is also a great listener and conversationalist. The team is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and fashion forward. The technology they use is cutting edge and allows for an easy experience of picking and fitting eye wear as well as contacts. I will be using Urban for all future needs in vision and have suggested them to colleges, friends and family!

I feel any experience starts from the front office. These ladies were courteous, friendly and patient - best customer service ever. Then the doctor comes in. I loved her. She took her time and explained the process, did the tests. Fantastic experience. Thank you guys.

My husband and I have been going to this store for over 10 years. We have purchased at least 20 designer frames I.E, Cartier, Tag Heuer, Maui Jim, Chanel just to name a few and prescription lens as well for these framed from the location in the Dadeland store. Customer Service and quality of this store is exceptional. We wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else for our glasses.

Would be really helpful if they included what hours they were closed for lunch. I was not the only person today who showed up right after their lunch started. I almost deleted my reviewed because i felt bad the owner claimed it was a coincidence I went on a day there was a lunch break. But I tried to go again 2 week later and they were closed again. Guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.

The visit was okay, but it wasn't great. I wouldn't go back with kids. We saw an assistant who didn't give his name, and Dr. Carlson. Some tips for the staff that may make this better for future patients (especially people with kids). Please introduce yourself when you come in so we know who you are and what your job is. Also, please describe what's going to happen at the appointment before you start so we (and the kids) know what to expect. Lastly, if you have a diagnosis or concern please wait until the end to give it to us so we can fully understand the diagnosis and aren't in the middle of trying to help wrangle a child through an exam.

I have been going to Hester Eye Associates for year. Always had fantastic service with very friendly staff. Very efficient. I trust Dr. Hester with my eyes and I will continue be a patient.
