I had an excellent experience with Dr. Bishoy Said. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr. Said is not only highly knowledgeable but also takes the time to explain everything clearly, answering all my questions with patience and care. Their attention to detail and genuine concern for my eye health made me feel like I was in the best hands. The entire staff was friendly .

Dr. Ho is an exceptional doctor. A few years ago, he. did a lens surgery for me at Wills Eye. The procedure went so well, another one of my doctors raved about how good my eyes were, post-op. More than helping me see better, Dr. Ho is just an incredibly kind and empathetic person. When you’re working with him, he makes you feel heard and understood. I cannot recommend him enough!

The receptionist staff here are unwelcoming. They appear to be unhappy with there jobs. If you come in here with an HMO your screwed. They will have you wait and you will be discouraged as patients who arrived after you are attended first, regardless whether you have an appointment . Be careful if you have come in with Medicare, they will try to charge you a copay of $50.00. But, if you have both medicare and medical the copay is waived. Note: they wont ask if you have medical and insist that you pay. So be observant of this. Not all is bad here, the back office staff including the doctors are very friendly and professional. Cant say the same for the front office.

I recently had a terrifying eye emergency that could have cost me my vision, and Dr. Aaron Tsai’s quick intervention literally saved the day. Yesterday, my right eye was struck by a high-speed object, and within hours, I was nearly blind in that eye due to severe internal bleeding and skyrocketing pressure (measured at 62, far above the normal 10-20 range). While waiting in the ER, Dr. Tsai—an exceptional ophthalmologist and fellow church member—stepped in to examine and treat me immediately, avoiding a long delay. His expertise was evident from the start: he diagnosed the issue precisely, started treatment on the spot, and by this morning, the pressure had dropped to 24. He emphasized that without prompt care within 48 hours, I risked permanent vision loss. Thanks to his compassionate and skilled response, I’m on the path to recovery and deeply grateful. Dr. Tsai is not just a doctor; he’s a lifesaver who goes above and beyond. Highly recommend him for any eye care needs!

The team at Retina Consultants made a difficult and somewhat scary situation for my wife much more comfortable than expected. The friendly, calm approach was reassuring and professional. We would recommend them to anyone in need of specialized eye care.

I had an exam with dr Hartz- one of the most despicable doctors i've met: he didn't listen to my concerns at all, wouldn't even let me finish them. He was talking over me, and just saying he knows better because he is a doctor, without even listening what exactly is a problem. Absolutely do NOT recommend!
