Do not go here. I went in for a routine contact exam due to my rx being expired and my vision wasn’t as good as it used to be. The dr first said my vision shouldn’t be changing at all at my age (this is incorrect). The dr also incorrectly jumped my rx up too high in both eyes (which I found out after seeing a new dr), he also insisted I had a focus issue and over the course of 2 weeks had me try two different (and new) contacts. After several days using each I told him my vision was worse than when I went in. He then told me my problem was too complex and he couldn’t help me anymore. I ended up going to a new dr (shout out to alachua family eye care). My vision issue was immediately and easily fixed and I now see great. My rx only went up slightly in one eye, less than he said it did. Nothing was complex about it. On top of the issues with my quality of care here, this place was in network with my vision insurance. They told me my vision insurance didn’t cover this type of exam and I had to pay for an exam that is usually covered. After my frustrations with the quality of care, I called my vision insurance asking why they won’t pay for this anymore and they told me they never received a bill and the exam should have been covered. Do yourself a favor and see a different dr. I highly suggest Alachua Family eye care.

Been coming here for a few years now. Staff is friendly, office is clean, appointments have been easy to book, never experienced "over booking like many offices," and Dr. Kenneth is very thorough, honest and I really trust him with my vision. Both my husband and I are very satisfied with the service they offer.

About three months ago, I made the decision to proceed with my cataract surgery. The lens we chose is a multifocal lens in order to get the near vision I was longing to regain. I had reading glasses everywhere, at work, at home, in the car, everywhere. When Dr. George explained to me what my vision would be like after surgery, I definitely decided to proceed with the surgery. The procedure was a very simple one and the staff in the area where the surgery was performed had a relaxed atmosphere with music. The doctor explained step by step what was happening during the process. This made me feel very relaxed and confident. Once the surgery was over, it was explained to me what to do. The next day my vision was 20/20 for both distance and near vision and I do not need to wear glasses to read. As of today I have both eyes operated on. I am very grateful to Dr. George and the staff at Tylock-George Eye Care. Thank you so much for giving me back the peace of mind to be able to read and see everything clearly. Highly recommended 😊

This was such a disappointing first visit. First, I was not seen until 40 minutes past my appointment time. I was told there wasn't a room, while other people who got there after me was taken. The first person I saw did not introduce herself, did not call me by name, and took measurements without explanation and no engagement with me as a person. I then waited some more. The optician came in next - she also didn't use my name, I had to ask her her's and who she was, and she also seemed disinterested in my care. The woman who took the eye pictures did introduce herself, and showed me where to go next. I waited 25 minutes for dilation (long yes?) and finally met the doctor. I actually liked Dr Ashley Khalil - she was warm, asked me how I'd like to be addressed, and answered my questions. I spent 2 1/2 hours at this appointment (including the wait time). Surely there is a more attentive eye care clinic on Long Island.

Everyone was very nice. The office was spotless. My appointment was very efficient and timely.

I was given much attention and care in fitting my complicated eyes with contacts. Dr. Holser explained everything to my satisfaction. I am grateful.
