Drove from Wayne to Lincoln park to pick up glasses, says open until 5 but they were closed at 4:20 not very good business etiquette. I think we’re probably gonna start going someplace else. Sign on door even says until 5 but they had a closed sign,?

Never having had eye surgery before, my concerns were definitely present. All I can say is that I can’t imagine a better appointment. The office staff was professional and courteous with up to date technology. The ladies who took it from there to prepare for surgery couldn’t have been better. Thank you Denice, Karen and Ginger (I believe was her name,) you were excellent, friendly and caring! After searching two years for a ophthalmologist I would feel comfortable with, Dr. Akler was well worth the wait. Her expertise is well known and I couldn’t have been in better hands.

I cannot say enough good things about this surgical center in Southgate! While preparing for my first cataract surgery, I found the staff incredibly personable and professional. Not to mention very nice! "We'll take good care of you." was their motto, and they did! And the surgeon--whose name I can't pronounce or spell and I can't find his card--was exceptional! He is a true 'miracle worker!' I have scheduled my next appointment for my other eye in a few weeks and am actually looking forward to getting it done! Many kudos to the Southgate Surgery Center! Carry on! Just found the doctor's name: Himanshu Aggarwal! Wonderful doctor! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Today i had left eye cataract surgery and I was very nervous their team was super supportive, friendly, professional and nice and I left feeling excited to have the right eye done - Thank you Liz, Angel and Cierra and the rest of the staff - I am sorry I didn’t remember everyone’s name

Lady isn’t even bothered to talk and answer a question let alone help me buy 3 pairs!! I didn’t bother her and just left!! Pooooooor customer service!

Do not buy your glasses at Sam’s Club, very poor customer service. I recently purchased a pair of glasses with progressive lens and had to take back to store three times I was told the frames I chose were improper for my prescription. I found another frame and they were more money which I had no problem paying the additional cost but explained to the Technician I had purchased two sets of clip on glasses which I no longer have the receipts for at Walmart because they were cheaper and requested if they could provide me with a new clip on sunglasses and her answer was do you expect Sam’s Club to pay for your clip on sunglasses. I told her yes because I purchased the clip on sunglasses not expecting to have to return my glasses to Sam’s Club because the prescription wasn’t proper She still was not willing to make any effort at all to assist me, she never even called the manager of the store to talk with him, she just said they won’t do anything for me.

I initially wanted a year‘s supply of contact lenses and they did not have them in stock. The lady would not let me buy what she had in store and place an order for the rest. As a result, it has been three months and I need more lenses but I cannot get them because they are never open when they are supposed to be. I have visited the store four times in the last week. Been out of lenses for three days now and squinting even as I write this review in their parking lot…all bad, would not recommend

Very bad treatment, they wasted 15 days of my time until I waited for the appointment, then the receptionist examined me, and when I asked her a question, she treated me badly and rudely, and she said, “I will not complete the treatment for you.” They wasted my time and refused to complete the treatment in general. Treatment I will file a complaint with the concerned authorities about this center

My husband and I visited Lesnick Optical recently for the first time. We were very impressed with everything. Dr. Scheinker is very competent and the entire staff was friendly and very professional. We are extremely pleased with our new glasses.

Eh... Eye doctor asked me if my hair was real during the eye exam. It is rude to ask those kinds of questions. Also, there was some kind of issue they created with my insurance. Apparently they had me under a different patient's name so of course my bill ended up changing--as in I owed more than I expected.

I went to Dr. Scheinker for years and then he moved his practice to Southgate. I didn’t want to drive that far so I tried going two other places. Big mistake! I don’t care how far I have to drive. I’m going back to him because he’s an excellent doctor, thorough, explains everything, and I know that I’m in good hands. When it comes to your eyes, you can’t mess around. Many of these places are like factories. He doesn’t rush you out the door. Plus, he’s very nice😊and that’s a real bonus these days.
