Service was good, my main issue is that I was asked to do a test that wasn’t covered by my insurance that I had previously had with another doctor. I explained this and the doctor said that is fine. His aid then comes in a few minutes later and tells me there is another test that is covered by the insurance and o agreed to it.She said this to me twice. They look at the test hold the data for the next time. There was no real point as they had nothing to go by previously and they were apparently not listening to me. After I pick my glasses and go out front to pay I then find out I Am being charged for the test after all. I did not appreciate that at all and do not trust offices that operate in that fashion and will not return.

Wish I came to this place sooner. A lot more affordable than other places that accept assistance insurance. Staff was very helpful and professional. Unlike other places that often make you feel unwelcomed. Dr. Heaven is so nice. He explained things very well that made me feel comfortable. Place is very friendly for youth as well. I'm very pleased with my experience with them!

I'm extremely grateful for everything that Dr Lee has done for me. She is extremely knowledgeable and empathic. I am very lucky to have found her. She partners very well with my team of doctors. She and Dr Kim work very well together. I looked for 10 years and saw more than 20 ophthalmologists before I found Dr Lee. Her knowledge is worth the drive from San Diego. Very grateful for her expertise and compassion.

I’ve been going there for my eye exam since 2017. No problem at all. I received courteous and professional services. I like the recently remodel and the office looks so modern and sleek.

Dr. Hillmer and his staff are always so kind, compassionate, and a pleasure to work with. He always spends ample time explaining everything to me and truly cares about his patients.

Excellent attention to detail & customer service! Everyone was very friendly & I most appreciated how my doctor took the time to go over each test result with me,, didn’t feel rushed at all!

Dont know why theres so many bad reviews but ive been coming here for over a decade since i was in middle school and theyve always been great! It can get busy at times but ive never had trouble getting checked and prescriptions

I was new to the area, and Jayme’s reviews were great, I made an appointment, and they are all right, she’s kind and attentive, and very understanding. I couldn’t have asked for a better eye dr after having the same one my whole life. Thank you, and your staff for makin my experience comfortable.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes and premium lenses inserted. I have a macular pucker in my left eye, but even with that, Dr Mulvaney was able to get my vision back to 20/25 in that eye and 20/20 in the other eye. I have not seen this well since my teenage years. He and his staff is caring and knowledgeable, explained everything each step of the way, the surgical procedure was far less frightening than I imagined and I felt like the staff truly cared about me. The post op care is excellent. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mulvaney and Central Florida Eye Associates of Lakeland. Highly recommend. And thank you for giving me my sight back!

At registration they asked us to digitally sign 3 signatures that were required. They will print the forms after they are digitally signed. It was signed and I asked for copies. Prior to signing, I had no idea what was in their paperwork. They won't show me any of it. They said it's privacy acknowledgement forms. One of them expressly says: by signing I give up my federal consumer protections and agree to pay more for out of network care. With this signature I acknowledge that I am consenting of my own free will and am not being coerced or pressured. I asked them what is this about? You refused to show me the paperwork and require this signature from us? The answer was this is a new federal requirement. Go call the federal government. I felt tricked pressured and coerced to signing this. I was told the signature is a requirement and I was told they will show me the paperwork after it's signed. Translation: Mount Sinai is saying It's a new federal requirement that mount Sinai force patients to sign away their rights and pay above and beyond for medical care. I told them I would like to refuse to sign this because it's an option. The front desk said "I don't know go ask my manager." The manager tells her to go back and mark the check box that patient refused to sign. The front desk girl tried and said she can't go back and undo the signature. She then said she will put a note in there to say patient refused to sign. I don't even know what that means since the signature was entered. Of the 3 signature, I only received print outs for 2 items. I have no clue what the 3rd one was. Very shady.
