CAUTION! SCUMMY SCAMMERS! I was told on two separate occasions, when booking a vision therapy consultation, that the consultation would be NO COST. I was told this once in December, and again in March when I had the consultation. Weeks later I was slapped with a bill for ~$300. I have since spent weeks with both Clarkson Eyecare corporate (who don't call back when they say they will) and with the local branch (who I also need to call many multiple times since they don't tend to follow up) and they still refuse to honor their mistake and would rather besmirch their reputation over $300. They now claim it was also 'no cost after insurance' however the topic of insurance never once came up when booking the consultation, just 'no cost' and I was never asked about my insurance. To me, a free consultation is a free consultation. Absolutely will never do business with this scammy company again and I'd recommend you to steer far clear!

Very impressed, friendly and knowledgeable staff

They told my wife on the phone that they take her insurance but when she got there they told her they didn't then tried to get her to pay out of pocket. She desperately needs glasses and now has to wait another 2 weeks to an appointment elsewhere. I don't like the way the doctor spoke to my wife and I dont appreciate trying to make her spend money when I already pay alot for insurance.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hall for several years. I have found her to extremely knowledgeable but just as important to me is her compassion to both her patients and her profession. You will never feel rushed with her because she does really care about you well being. She is a real gem and I fel fortunate to have have found her.

When I lived in Montgomery the only ophthalmologist I would see was Dr. Young. I was always treated well by the staff, Dr. Young himself is very professional and there is no doubt he truly cares about his patients and his work. Also, Ms. Carol who handles in-house contact fitting, ordering, etc. is very patient and kind and taught me as a 13-year-old boy how to properly wear my contacts. I miss the ease, accuracy, and professionalism of this practice; I have yet to find any practices in my area that I have been to that provide me even a fraction of the pleasure I used to experience from 20/20 Ophthalmic Associates and Dr. Young.

Would not recommend at all. I went in for an appointment at 9 am and did not end up leaving until 12 pm. It was very frustrating and I kept informing the staff of how long I’ve been waiting and all they would do is give me the runaround and say I was either one patient away or next. This wasn’t true, there were still several people going in before me that got there after me.Once I got into the room to see the doctor, I informed her of how long I’ve been waiting and asked if they usually schedule that many people. She became offended and did not even apologize for the wait time, instead blamed it on the administration. She also informed me that there are 4 doctors and 4 patients scheduled every 15 minutes throughout the day (total of 60 patients every hour). I waited a whole 2 1/2 hours just to see the doctor for a total of 5 minutes. Would not recommend unless you like wasting time.

I had an excellent experience at the eye doctor today 08/29/23 The service was incredibly fast and efficient, and the quality of care I received was top-notch. I'm impressed by the professionalism and effectiveness of thestaff. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Dr. BILLINGS for many years. When I moved to Sarasota in 1982, he was my first Eye Doctor and I’ve been with him ever since. My experience with him and his staff has always been very good. They are professional and knowledgeable.

Dr. Blevins is great. My family and I have been going here since we moved to Ohio in 2015. He is thorough and explains what he is doing and the importance of each step. He is great with kids too! He takes his time with them and makes them feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Blevins.
