Great overall experience. The front staff was kind and quick.
The MA was so kind and gently with my little 5yo. Lastly Dr.Estrada was wonderful, going above and beyond. He made the experience so comfortable for my little one and I. He explained everything and took his time making sure I understood. My little one left with a huge smile and wanting to return to see more magic tricks.

Every professional that we encountered was extremely pleasant and great to work with. My 4 year old was nervous and each professional had the patience of a saint to make it a great experience for us.

Dr. Barouh is the best! She is professional, welcoming, serious, and funny! She gives you details and choices so you can "see" (pun intended) what eye decisions you have to make. I highly recommend her!

You are only as good as your front office staff. They have not allowed office visits for years due to Covid (long after everyone else opened up). Nancy, the contact lens “guru” would not do lenses going on 3 years, yet the receptionist says “not at the moment.” 3 years in not a moment. When you ask if there is anyone who can tell you when they’ll be doing lenses again, you get told to go to BJs and then you get transferred to a VM that does not work, and then they literally STOP ANSWERING the phone when you call back. The phone rings and rings and says “goodbye.” I will be sure to send this to the doctor as well. They are losing 8 patients in my immediate family alone. Too bad. Good job, secretary. Sorry, docs.

Dr Mindy is very kind and performs a thorough exam. She takes the time to understand any issues you might be having and does not rush you out the door.

Shawnee Optix
I had been dealing with ear pain from a bad adjustment for a couple years, but the pain became too much to tolerate while I was in the middle of moving in August. They were literally wearing a hole in my ear... Where I got the glasses required an appointment. The other shop I tried (near the purchase location) was dismissive and made the problem worse. :(
I called Jon at Shawnee Optix and described the problem. I was at the end of my rope. He said he thought he could help and to stop by the same day.
Within 15 minutes or less, my issue was resolved (although it did take about a week to determine that). He leveled my frames back out, put new nosepads on made from a different material, and truly had a sense of how to properly adjust glasses to get the weight off my ear.
The man has skills. I have worn glasses since I was a kid and I wish, somehow, he'd been able to do all my adjustments! I no longer live in the area, but if you need a poor adjustment fixed then I would highly recommend stopping by.
Jon didn't even charge me; he simply asked that I leave a review. The fact that someone actually cared that I was in pain AND also need to wear these to function meant a lot me. Thank you! :)
