New patient as a referral from my eye doctor...got to my appointment 15 minutes early, with the understanding that my eyes will be dilated and would be there for approximately 2.5 hours. I assumed that would be from the start of my appointment. I didn't get into the waiting room until 9:10 and was left there until 930, while others who came in after me, got called in. I asked at that time how much longer it would be, that's when they told me they were running behind "a bit". Waited another 10-15 minutes. now it's 9:45am and still not even called at all. What is the point of having an appointment if you aren't going to stick to it? After a brief unhelpful conversation again with the lady who checked me in, I wound up canceling my appointment and requesting a refund for my copay. I'll go find another retina specialist that actually cares about appointments.

I had a scheduled appointment to see a doctor, but unfortunately, I was only able to see the doctor after 3 hours. There were several other people who went through the same experience with me。 Also I have noticed that other people have similar complaints before, which indicates that this issue is not isolated but rather a frequent occurrence. I also agree with their comments, highlighting the lack of basic respect towards patients at the clinic. Without fundamental respect, how can we expect to receive careful diagnosis and treatment as patients?

I would like to thank Dr. Philip Meltzer, Dr. Erica Meltzer, and the very kind lady who helped me ascend and descend the two small steps at the doorway of Spectacles. Lifelong medical issues with comorbidities have left me orthopedically awkward; nevertheless, at Spectacles, I was treated as though I were Royalty. I had two pairs of eyeglasses with broken frames and at Spectacles, I chose two fashionable and fairly priced frames. I returned two times afterward to have slight adjustments made to the frames, and I am delighted to wear them both. Spectacles is an apt and charming name for this conveniently located optical venue, which exudes a calming vibe and a sense of medical professionalism. My only regret is that I can select only five stars as a rating; Spectacles deserves all the stars in the evening sky. Very highly recommended!

My Gucci glasses had their legs bent due to damage, but the team not only skillfully repaired them but also provided a delightful experience throughout the process.

I had a wonderful experience with both doctors at Spectacles. Dr. Philip and Dr. Erica were both incredibly welcoming and kind, making me feel like family. Dr. Meltzer took the time to give me a thorough eye exam while explaining everything in an understandable manner.

Very friendly and caring for patients. Looks out for them and puts effort to make sure they are comfortable. Recommend 100%

Avoid! Doctor's assistant is horrible very rude. Money hungry,They don't care about your situation.

Dr Kolker is very thorough with exam, has great bedside manners. My daughters with vision problems were able to see their best after Dr. Kolker prescribed their contacts and glasses! Her front desk clerks are amazing! I highly recommend Dr. Kolker!

Very satisfied with both glasses and contact lenses. Due to my rare eye condition it wasn't simple to create a perfect fit and dr Kolker did everything to make it happen with so much patience and caring attitude. My insurance didn't cover the visits and lenses but Dr Kolker did a significant discount which was very much affordable. Overall very impressed with her work ethic and dedication . Highly recommend.

Very clean practice, doctor cleans rooms before exams and after, they will take their time with you and ensure your experience is great, from the sale front to the exam room. There is always a line of communication between staff and consumer, and they happily answer any questions. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area!
