I have been a patient of Dr.Alfaro for 3 yrs now and he is great!! He has the best bedside manner and I trust him 100%. His staff is very friendly and make you feel comfortable during all procedures. I saw Kim today and she made me feel at ease and we had a great laugh too!

I was referred to Dr. Alfaro for poor vision in my left eye. The staff was amazing. DR. Alfaro on the other hand was to busy trying to diagnose me with diabetes which I don't have by the way Because of my family history and my weight. Only thing he was talking about was the diabetes. When I asked him about my diagnosis and if diabetes had anything to do with it he never answered me. I think he needs to be a endocrinologist instead. I will not be returning very unprofessional

I'm leaving this review for Dr. Brugger at the Summerville (nexton) location.. I was told my Dr was new, They were less than professional to say the least.. The whole ordeal was frightening. So much so that I'd rather go blind in my right eye than to see this doctor ever again. 3 months later I still can't see in that eye. No stated diagnosis. Nothing more than single word answer when I ask a question. Please spend the time now to find another doctor, please don't wait till you read this more than once. As stated I'm leaving my comment here because he's so new no Web site. Please NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS FOR DR:BRUGGER AND HIS WHOLE STAFF. This guy has a very angry disposition. He is terrifying. Not much frightens me at my age. And he's scares me completely. I still have nightmares.

I made an appointment two months in advance only to have them call me a week before my appointment to tell me that it was cancelled because the clinic was closed. I couldn’t get back in for a month and a half. Poor organization!

TERRIBLE EYE CARE FROM DR WHITTINGTON AND DR REUTHER!!! I went in to Carolina Eyecare with very blurry spots on my right eye. Of course I wanted to know what to do about it. Dr Whittington took a quick look at my eyes and said. “ You have cataracts “ and made an appointment with Dr Reuther the surgeon. From there I was on the cataract assembly line train. They did my right eye last and when it was all done after 4 months. MY RIGHT EYE WAS STILL THE SAME. At my final post op I asked Dr Whittington when my right eye will improve. She had the nerve to say. “ Oh that’s a totally different surgery. You must have misunderstood “ WHAT ?!?!?!?! I’m out $3,000 and two weeks of missed work and still have the same problem?? These horrible people didn’t listen to me. Did their own thing. And then blamed me for misunderstanding. I will most definitely be suing!! NEVER EVER TRUST YOUR EYES TO DR WHITTINGTON AND DR REUTHER. THEY DON’T CARE.

Professional, very knowledgeable, and skilled. Would definitely recommend.

The experience was great until now. Two weeks after the appt and I have not heard whether ins is covering surgery or about scheduling surgery. I left a voicemail last week and still haven’t gotten a call back.

Staff was efficient. Wait time was good. Dr. Piehota explained everything and did not appear to be in a rush or in a hurry.

Our youngest is autistic and gets her glasses at Dr. Bang's office and the staff is always so amazing with her and she enjoys going! They know her by name when she walks in the door and treat her like a princess. Maybe that's why she insisted on wearing her Belle dress today! 😊 …

Dr Bang is a excellent doctor very nice and respectful explaining everything. His office manager on the other hand is very rude and condescending. I requested my medical records 1st I was told all they could provide was my prescription. I questioned her response and then she could provide more. She told me I had no authorization letter for someone else to pick up my records which I knew was lye and would only provide the 1st sheet of my information paper work. Dr Bang would do his practice a great up grade by replacing his office manager.
