I took my Brittany for a minor eye procedure. I had a terrible start on morning of I didn't pay close attention to which location i wss supposed to be at between 8 and 9 a.m i wen to Park West office first. I was supposed to be at Hwy 78 office. I was upset blaming the staff, what great service. The ladies at the front desk were professional and understanding. Moved on to 78 office same great service. My dog is healing nicely.

The staff are all very kind and take their time to make sure you understand everything. Doctor Thompson is amazing. He does not talk in medical terms I can’t understand. He knows I am not in the medical field so he talks in terms I understand. He has made me very comfortable in preparing for cataract surgery. I highly recommend.

Dr. Thompson and the staff of Lowcountry Eye Specialists are the best! I was anxious about having cataract surgery but Dr. Thompson clearly explained the surgery, my lens options, and patiently answered my questions. It was reassuring to know that a doctor was available 24 hours a day after my surgery. The latest technology was utilized and I am thrilled with my results!! I would like to express my appreciation to the staff and Dr. Wood for their outstanding care. My child, who has Level 3 Autism, typically experiences anxiety when visiting new places. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, compassion, efficiency, and patience exhibited by the staff and assistants. Dr. Wood provided incredibly gentle care and even sang a song to soothe my little one as she began to get anxious, which proved to be effective! They successfully conducted a thorough eye exam by dilating my child's pupils, enabling us to obtain the necessary glasses. I am sincerely impressed and grateful for the exceptional services provided by Dr. Wood, the staff, and the assistants involved in our appointment. Thank you all for your exceptional care!

My son suffered an eye injury at school. When I called this office Dr. Wood and staff didn’t hesitate to get him in immediately. My son was extremely upset, in pain, and terrified. They were absolutely amazing with him. I’m so grateful and I just can’t thank Dr. Wood and staff enough for everything they did for us. Thank you!

What a great place and finally answers to my prayers, I have been living with strabismus for 50 years and was never able to get surgery for one reason or another ,but I told myself it’s about my over all health and happiness and I’m finally getting it done with children’s eye specialist . Yay for me and thank you to a wonderful staff and doctors

Had a 4:30 appt. which I made sure I was 15 minutes early for. Waited an hour in the waiting room listening to the office staff chatting and giggling. When we finally asked what was happening we got an excuse that there were 3 emergencies today. I asked why didn't they call me to reschedule then, or at least tell me when I got there so I didn't have to sit around for an hour. They just stared at me and said "Sorry". Horribly unprofessional. If I am 5 minutes late for an appointment I lose my slot, but they can leave me sitting for an hour? It's a shame I can't give zero stars.

The staff was very rude and the doctor was very dismissive of my problem. After many appointments with no good results I’m done with this place. I’m seeing a new eye doctor now who was great at adjusting my prescription. He also identified an eye problem I had that wasn’t detected here.
