I am updating my review. The general manager is a wonderful person. She called me to inform me that the below experience is NOT their business practice at all. She was truly interested in making everyone have a better more informed experience and asked my opinion on how things could be improved. I am changing the review for this alone as that’s well worth having 1 bad experience if all the below gets fixed………
OLD review: The optometrist was very nice and informative. She did a wonderful job with explanation and at her job that’s all… The front desk technician and their business model is corrupted for sure. The front desk tech never wiped down the equipment when imaging my eyes- at all. She also was nonchalant and had no personality, very off putting and made it seem she hated life and working there. They try to sell you expensive eye drops and eye masks and ALWAYS ADD THE RETINAL SCAN without telling you. I had to inquire why I owed $49 when my exam was free with insurance and no copay. That’s when she told me “we require either dilation or a retinal scan”. Which is fine- but I have never had a vision institution require a VOLUNTARY service and NOT tell you about it beforehand. Very shady business model. Won’t be going back at all and don’t recommend others here either.

Had an appointment, but we mixed up the date and arrived a day early. They were able to fit us in. The opthalmologist explained everything they were doing and explained every procedure. She was very good at her job and put us at ease. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The eye Dr to me is like going to the dentist. Can't stand it, but Dr. Pham and all of the office professionals were amazing. He answered my questions readily, helped me understand my vision and needs and finders crossed, my glasses will be perfect. This is my first with bifocals so it's new for me. I got contacts and glasses.
