The wait was not excessive, the equipment was formidable, and two of the technicians who conducted procedures with that equipment were friendly, helpful, patient, and supportive. The third one, however, kept facing away from me when she talked (into her mask) and had to be asked several times to please turn toward me and speak more clearly, because I have some hearing issues.
The doctor whom I saw was clearly an expert. He took the time he needed with the procedures for which he was responsible, and when he found everything in working order (thank goodness) and told me so, I believed him. When I volunteered a few short observations about my vision and asked him a few short questions, it was clear that--having found my eyes basically healthy--he had no interest in what I was saying, and was in a great rush to see the next patient. Not particularly pleasant, but his approach undoubtedly contributes mightily to the fact that I didn't have to wait an ungodly amount of time to see him, myself.
The practice is, in short, a fabulously well-equipped, -oiled, and -trained eye-exam factory--some of whose assembly-line workers are more amicable than others. Perhaps that is the only way that medicine can be practiced these days. The bottom line is that I am confident that my "clean bill of eye health" is accurate and that--had any problems been encountered--I would have been properly steered. Which is all that really counts, isn't it?
You don't go to an eye doctor for a spa treatment.

Staff was friendly, informative and professional. Appreciate their efforts. Office was well organized, chic and comfy. You will, without a doubt receive top notch care here for you eye health. Just a fare warning for those doing self-pay, they refuse to tell you how much your visit is in an advance. Not even an estimated average that other patients with similar concerns have paid. I find that ludicrous & opportunistic, especially they do not offer a payment plan. You must pay on the spot. You will be spending (based on overhearing what other patients paid) between $700-$1000 for a visit. But what you pay for is of quality care. Stay blessed.

Dr.Klancnik and the staff at VRMNY were fantastic! Evaluated me and put my mind at ease after I had some frightening symptoms. His credentials are impressive and he is very personable.
Highly recommended!
