My exam was smooth. The examiner was very knowledgeable and he took his time to walk me through everything. Amanda was so sweet. She provided me with every detail I need to get my contacts and glasses. Options, turn around time, etc. She was extremely patient with my frame decision. I didn’t feel rushed at all. I would recommend anyone to go to SVS with their eye care needs.

I was greeted with a warm hello and smile. My exam was was amazing. Nothing extraordinary happened but the examiner really listened to my concerns and took additional time to consider a deeper examination (which I was referred). I felt very included in my care as opposed to just being pacified with the other wise typical answers. While I was looking at frames, they were not overbearing at all which I absolutely love however, did let me know (& feel confident) about asking them for assistance if needed. When I found my frame, the assistant was accepting & encouraging feedback from my daughter who couldn’t come with. A quick picture and wahlah! I really recommend this SVS on Squirrel Rd, Auburn Hills.

I am very pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Ruby. He takes his time to explain and answer any questions I may have. He also has a good sense of humor and makes you feel very comfortable and his staff is great.

Dr. Ruby described the testing (retinal imaging) I was to undergo and reviewed the results sharing and explaining the actual imaging. He thoroughly and clearly answered all my questions giving me confidence in the care I was receiving.

One of the most professional, friendly, and well-run offices I have ever been to! Dr. Ruby was fantastic. Explained everything to me in a way that I could clearly understand and helped me make a good decision for my future I care.

My wife had progressive lenses put in a frame she purchased elsewhere and also had prescription polarized lenses put in sunglasses. My Ophthamologist told me to use Hoya Vision progressive lenses based on the work I do and I could not find them anywhere in the Rochester area but Tom had no issue getting them for me. I put the Hoya progressive lenses in a frame I purchased elsewhere. Tom was great to work with and he beat the prices we were quoted for progressive lenses from all the optometrist locations in Rochester, specifically the one in the Village of Rochester and the one in downtown Rochester on Main Street. He said it would take about a week and they arrived at the store in 6 days. I will never go anywhere else for lenses in Rochester/Rochester Hills. We are really happy with our glasses and highly recommend Tom and Focus optical.

I enjoy thrifting and brought my unique frames finds to Tom. I prefer glass lenses, he and his team made it work! Fair regard, they are not responsible for any damages to outsourced frames. That gamble being said, I'm very grateful to the marvelous team. I absolutely love my glasse and wholeheartedly recommend Focus Optical!

Tom is very helpful. He honestly gives me hope for customer service in the medical industry. He has always bent over backwards to help me. It’s a small business and yes the inside could use a little remodeling but that’s many offices. Honestly, I won’t go back to my anchor bay home eye doctor. I gave this place a chance because it was so close to where I lived. Now that I have moved back to new Baltimore, I will continue to drive out of my way to go to this optometrist. This place is special and unique. I have a lot of stress in my life and this business makes my life a little less stressful. I went to the optometrist in new Baltimore almost my whole life. I have no regrets going to this place instead. I feel like I’m treated like an actual person and not a number. I was able to get my contacts quickly and efficiently.

I have been coming here for 2-3 years and will keep coming for a long time. Great doctors and the staff is just soooo nice and helpful. They are always in great mood and so friendly. Everyone I dealt also had extensive knowledge (contact lenses, glasses, the doctors, etc.).
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because every single time I have a doctors appointment I sit in the doctors room for a long time before they come and see me. It’s gotten as far as 20+ minutes. Once the doctor shows up it’s great, really nothing to complain and so, but the wait is just too much. They either have to set appointments more accurately to when the doctors are actually able to see a patient, or the doctors need to hurry up.
Anyway, I’ll still keep coming, it’s just a thing they could improve.

Just finished a phone call with the staff over at Weisman Optometrists, and their staff has fantastic phone etiquette when dealing with an upset costumer.
Our insurance costumer service misinformed my wife and myself on what was covered and I called in yesterday guns blazing asking why they over charged us. Low and behold, they were not only correct on the price but offered to have us come back in and be fitted in a brand of contracts that were covered by our insurance.
Other then that little hiccup (and wonderful recovery), outstanding service all around.
Thank you again for calling me back and explaining in detail where the misinformation happened.

My wife and I have been going to Weisman Optometrists for the past 17 years or so. I am not going to say that my eyesight has suddenly and miraculously become 20/20 because of the fantastic staff there at Weisman but what I will say is that I see better now that I have with any other provider that I have seen since I started wearing glasses in my junior year of high school way back in '90 (that's 1990...not 1890...I'm not that old yet).
I am generally seen by either of the Doctors Michael (Weishaus or Deurr). They run on time and are fast and efficient in providing quality eye care and diagnosis. They offer the latest in technology to alleviate the dreaded "I just got dilated because I was at the eye doctor and I am not partaking in recreational marijuana ." that I used to experience when my pupils were medically dilated. They also offer retinal photos that they store on their computers so that they can track any degenerative disease processes that may or may not be present. Super reassuring to those, like me, that tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac.
I am probably Oakley's biggest fan boy and walking billboard. I have at least 2 pair of regular Oakleys and 2 pair of prescription sunglasses at all times. Weisman carries a WIDE selection of Oakley frames and I never feel pressured when selecting my newest frames. They take the time to make sure that they fit your face and that they conform to your lifestyle. If they look wonky or too small for my watermellon sized head...they'll tell me. I am always confident that I look amazing when I walk out with my new glasses.
Start to finish the best place to care for your eyes ever. Keep up the fantastic work Weisman Team and we'll see you at my next check-up.
