My experience was thoughtless, unprofessional and inconsiderate! The lady with the low cut that sits at the desk and makes appts called her self training a new employee last week. Turns out she needs training also. I came twice in 1 week. My appt was book and insurance was verified before I came is what I was told. The 1st day I was lost which made me 15min late. I drove an hour but it didn't matter to them. I felt like I should've been told that in advance. I was turned away and rescheduled 3 day's later. Ok so I drive an hour again 3 days later only to be told upon arrival. They no longer take my insurance. I'm pissed because sheookewd like she took pleasure in telling me the bad news. She was very short anddbasically said oh well next! As if my time isn't valuable

I been coming to Dr. Van Wie for about 18 years now. She is the only one I trust with my vision. She’s absolutely amazing!!

I’ve been coming to this location for over 4 years now and every time, I get great service.
I had an appointment this morning. We ran into a few complications where the doctor called out so everything had to be moved remotely for the day. Yes, an eye exam remotely! I was skeptical at first, but I needed to update my prescription as soon as possible so I stayed.
DO NOT BE AFRAID OF REMOTE EYE EXAMS. Everything was done as a normal eye exam and because the doctors are remote, they need to see pictures and videos of your eyes and the entire process is not only really cool, but easy! I wish I remembered the lady’s name that assisted the doctor with the remote exam, but she was great!
Now, because of everything being moved remote, I waited about 45 minutes after my appointment time to get seen since they had to contact other patients plus set up the remote machines/exams/calls. However, Nelsy made sure I was taken care of due to my long wait time. She was so kind, patient, explained everything so clearly and helped me find the best price I could get for my glasses. She’s fantastic.
Thank you America’s Best in Dunwoody!

I arrived at America's Best in Dunwoody 10 minutes early for my 3 pm appointment, only to be informed it was canceled. Despite receiving a morning confirmation text, they claimed to have tried reaching me without leaving a message. The front desk mentioned my appointment was booked at another location. After verifying with the Alpharetta branch, I opted to cancel as I wouldn't make it in time. Disappointed, I'll explore other companies with walk-in options on my next day off.

Oh, I was extremely happy with the service. I received the care and the consideration that the team provided me with nothing short of amazing. Thank you for matching me with the perfect pair of new glasses. Keep up the great work

I can not speak more highly of Dr. Christina Weeks. After my detached retina left me with double vision & distortion in my right eye, she worked tirelessly to fit me for prism glasses so I would be able to function, which now I am. She was patient, kind & so comforting. She took her time with me in each appointment, which is a rarity these days. My eye condition is very difficult & I will forever be grateful that my surgeon recommended me to her. I must put in a word for her extremely kind & attentive assistant, as well! Couldn’t recommend her more!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Very disappointed with the timeliness and professionalism and care of this specialist and her practice. I had a 3:15 appointment for my son as I am a public school teacher and he is also in school. At 5:00 when we were still waiting to be seen the staff seemed to be annoyed at my presence and others who where waiting as they where prepping to close the office. At this time I discovered that another family who was waiting with me had been given the same appointment time. Another family that was scheduled just 10 minutes BEFORE us and still waiting said this was the second time they had been seen HOURS after the scheduled appointment time. When I was finally seen at 5:40. I was offered no apology. I brought the situation up to Dr. Weeks who replied that this is a normal outcome when their are "late evening appointments". She seemed very cold and unapologetic. She suggested that I make earlier appointments to avoid this happening as other appointment can run over. I suggested she have her scheduling team make few appointments in a day to alleviate the issue.
I mentioned to her that my sons eye check was developmentally inappropriate ( he was a fresh 4 being asked to identify letters and a means of determining vision) as a kindergarten teacher I know that early letter recognition for that purpose shouldn't begin until 4-5 months of kindergarten--not the beginning of pre-k. I knew from visiting before that she should have been given a "common objects test". Her response to that was that the tech was new and she expects new staff to make mistakes.
To make matters worse she performed a surgery for my son's Ptosis in July and said it should be completely healed in 2 months. She volunteered this info. It was not---far from-- and even now at 5 moths post op he still has issues closing the eye. When I asked what the likely outcome would be as this surgery clearly didn't have a desired outcome and his eyes are nowhere near symmetrical she said that we can "explore options for another surgery" . So she botched a surgery and now suggests that I should pay her to fix the work and put my son through the difficult healing process again.
Finally, I've been told i have a balance by this office 3 separate times during check- in and each time I'm shame walked to the billing department just to explain EVERYTIME that I had met my deductible as well as paid my surgery balance IN FULL before my sons surgery. Trust me, Weeks would not have touched my son without receiving payment first. Held up for 15 minutes or so each time for them to site billing/coding issues as the reason for the flag on my account. JUST TO FIND OUT THAT HER OFFICE ACTUALLY OWED ME OVER 400 DOLLARS! But of course I had to wait a few weeks to be mailed a check.
I feel like I failed my son trusting this office. I wish Weeks did ANYTHING to make me feel like she was sorry my family experienced this level of disconnectedness form a healthcare provider---but nothing. Sadly, I'll need a new specialist I can trust.

I liked dr weeks she was very nice.
The poor rating is because I brought both my young children here and they both got their eyes dilated. But when I left, the front desk lady never offered any sun protection glasses for their eyes. When we stepped outside the sun was so bright in their eyes and they kept shielding their eyes from the sun saying it was so bright. Also for the rest of the day we were out running errands.
I know nothing about glasses and I didn’t know ur supposed to get shades after dilation. When my husband came home from work he told me they are supposed to give some cheap paper shades for their eyes after dilation but i had no idea. He was very angry and does not want me to take them back there anymore.
I then told him that I recollect she did indeed offer another person who was leaving with paper shades but I didn’t realize what it was for.
She was nice enough in the beginning when she wanted me to pay $100 copay for my two kids. But at the end of the visit I asked her one question about where i can get glasses for my daughter besides at their office. Instead she said she didn’t know and that I don’t have vision insurance only medical so nothing will be covered inside their office for glasses. She seemed annoyed and told me to go talk with the eyeglass lady on the other side of the room.

I wouldn't trust my eye care to anyone else. Dr. Rondowsky has both state of the art technology and fabulous bedside manner. I highly recommend both him and his practice.
