It was our first visit for a new patient eye exam after my little one failed one at his pediatrician. Wait time was minimal, which was great. The tests seemed very thorough and the staff was very patient with my 8 year old, and let me help when needed, which I appreciated. The doctor was kind, comforting, and knowledgeable. They have fairly priced packages for childrens glasses. Very good experience all around.

Sadly I had a really bad experience here. My appointment was back in April, and I wanted to try contacts so they were going to order me some trials. They told me it would be a few days for them to come in. Within a month of my appointment I had called 3 times, because nobody was reaching out to me. Each time I got a different answer “oh it looks like we forgot to order them” “I have no idea where your contacts are” “They are on back order and haven’t shipped yet”. 2 months go by, I finally decide to just walk in there and tell them I am there to pick up my trial contacts, I was there probably 20 minutes because they had to search every room for them, but finally found one pair. They then tell me I also have a set of daily trial contacts, but that they are on back order and they have not received my left eye yet. They told me they would call me to let me know when they ship/arrive. It has now been almost 3 months since I picked up my first pair of trials, and 5 months since my appointment. I still have not received a single call about my daily contact trial. I have never experienced an eye doctor so unorganized!

The young lady at the reception was very rude and condescending. Unprofessional. We left and went somewhere else.

I’ve been going here for 6 yrs. and they do a great job all the way. The staff are professional and courteous, the physicians are amazing, and service is great. As my eyes deteriorate due to aging, these doctors have been on top of whatever is needed to keep me seeing as well as I can. I recommend them highly.

Gone way downhill!!!! No customer service anymore, (that I received anyway). I went back for a checkup after 5 years WOW has it changed and not for the better. I had to help the nurse/tech to fill out my heath information correctly as she was confused and entering it incorrectly in her computer (that is dangerous!!!!). I don’t think the sales rep even cared that I was there as he took no initiative and only helped or answered questions if i asked him. It was almost if i was bothering him. So sad as I went back because they are a not corporate chain but I would have done better with them. Buena Vista I really hope you make some changes as I hate to see private businesses shoot themselves in the foot.

Gosh, I just can't say enough nice things about this place. Everyone I met at my first appointment today was so friendly! Despite the doctor running behind, I did not feel rushed in any way nor did it feel like he was rushing through my eye tests. Had so many giggles with the staff during my visit. So excited to come back for my glasses. This place is immaculately clean and the technology is up to date. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Brought my 7 y.o daughter for an eye exam/ glasses after having a horrible experience with another optometrist I had taken her to. Everyone in this office was soooo professional & treated us respectfully. The overall vibe of the office & staff made us comfortable. And that's important to us! The whole process from eye scan, exam & glasses pick out for my daughter was great. Definitely our families new eye doctors office & I will refer others to come see Dr. Fodor & his staff!

When you make the first appointment of the day & you show up at 715, but you still have to wait till 9am to be seen! There is something terribly wrong with that Picture !! They even have a new “Form” to sign advising patients that “rudeness or argumentative words” will not be tolerated (which it should not!) , but who needs to put this in writing?? Cause I could imagine the “wait” in the afternoon! This place does not look like a happy place to work & they feel that their time is much more valuable than yours. Find another Practice to go to.

Buyer Beware: Three weeks of bad communication and they couldn't make my glasses. They told me that they would return my old glasses. After waiting several days, they returned my glasses with only one lens. Basically, they told me "tough". Be very careful believing any promises and stories they tell you. What should I do with 1 lens in a pair of glasses?

When you walk into the outer waiting room at 820 am, with 25 seats and they are all full you think does anybody ever look at this. After 40 minutes get moved back to the next waiting room. .

Florida Eye Institute is top notch in my book. Everyone, from check in, to the conclusion of my appointment, is professional, compassionate and truly interested in the patients' well-being. My first cataract procedure was a "piece of cake" and I'm looking forward to the second one.
