I called for an appointment and gave them all the information they needed since “it’s a new company after Dr. Budd retired”. I showed up and was told that they could not find our name under our insurance. I told her how can that be since my husband was just here 2 weeks ago. Then she verified again and she said oh yes but you have to come back next year for your yearly. Really? I had been waiting for an hour just for them to tell me that? These new company and her doesn’t know anything. Private practice is still the best! What’s the purpose of getting my information ahead of time? They don’t have any idea what they are doing! You can do better than that! Train your people well and train them to have the best customer service!

BEWARE... this place does not inform you of charges for things they make you think your covered with insurance, when your not! My 83 year old mom was taken advantage by not being told about up charges or frame prices, so the office could get more money out of her. If she was informed correctly she could have gotten 2 to 3 pairs of glasses but instead she only got 1 pair that constantly need adjusting. They did not offer a refund or exchange also when they claim they have a 30 day guarantee....So if you decide to go there ask questions and double check so you don't get taken advantage of.

I love this vision works. I’ve been going here for years and never had a problem, for my annual this year there was a change in doctor and some staff and they were all absolutely amazing and kind. Dr. Anieka Ramgolam-Singh was very patient and explained everything in great detail.

The staff was friendly and couteous, they even mailed my contacts to me since I was unable to come in and pick them up. I hadn't had an eye exam in a long time and the doctor to their time with me while I had trouble determining which prescription was better for me. The receptionist even took the time to help me with the rebate process for the contacts that I purchased.

We were greeted immediately upon arrival, we had a few minutes to look over the vast choice of frames, Carmen was very helpful and knowledgeable, glasses arrived in less time than anticipated. Great Service, Great product, Great Price.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Our daughter (Toddler) had her vision checked at Dr. Young office. They prescribed some glasses. We paid for the frames but while shopping for the frames we told the person there, that all glasses look to big for her little face. We were told that the frames were gonna be adjusted. Shortly our daughter was complaining that she was having headaches. When we saw the prescription she had I was not convinced. We went to her office and the Dr. Young was to arrogant and telling us that she had 20 years of experience and she was not gonna refund the funds of the frames. THIS WAS BACKED IN APRIL 2022 WE WAITED THIS LONG TO POST A REVIEW BECAUSE WE GOT A SECOND OPINION OF A DOCTOR THAT HAS OVER 30 YEARS WORKING WITH KIDS ONLY AND GUESS WHAT! OUR DAUGHTER DOES NOT NEED GLASSES. WE TOOK OUR DAUGHTER TO DR. YOUNG BECAUSE OUR INSURANCE SUGGESTED TO DO AN EYE VISOIN CHECK FOR PREVENTION. They will tell you that you need glasses just for the $$$. At this point we lost close to $200 but I'm so glad i went with my gut and the same day we requested the refund and was denied I PUT THE FRAMES AWAY AND TOLD OUR LITTLE ONE YOU ARE NOT GONNA WEAR THESE UNTIL ANOTHER DR SEE YOU. WE ARE HAPPY THAT WE DIDNT MESSED UP HER VISION Do your research before going to this doctor. I would pay a little more for a consultation else where than trying to save a little and going here. IF YOU CALL ALL THE OPTOMETRIST OF THE AREA (HOMESTEAD, FL) NONE OF THEM WILL ACCEPT KIDS BELOW 6 OR 8 AND THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT, IS JUST NOT ETHICAL IF YOU DONT SPECIALIZED WITH KIDS ,THEN WHY PROVIDE THE SERVICE. DR. YOUNG THERE WAS A REASON YOUR FRAMES DIDNT FIT OUR LITTLE ONE IS BECAUSE THEY ARE FOR DESIGN FOR KIDS 8+. YOU SHOULDNT SELL THEM TO KIDS BELOW THOSE AGES.

very poor coordination regarding appointment times. a joke playing with people's time, it is not possible that having an appointment they will attend to you 3 hours later, they play with people's time, even more so knowing that the person cannot come alone after a surgery to the eyes and play with the passenger's time, a real lack of respect
