I just moved here all the way from Colorado and I was super worried about finding a new eye doctor that I would love. Immediately the staff made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. Dr. DeSando was wonderful and Aaron at the front was so kind and helpful. I am a student without health insurance and he helped me find the lowest rates for contacts and was able to lower my bill astronomically. I cannot even express how grateful I am to have found this place. If I could give them 100/5 stars I would!

I came here for my annual eye exam and ordered new eyeglasses and contact lenses. The exam with the doctor went okay, though she was late starting the exam and mentioned my age in almost every sentence. The staff that were on site when I ordered corrective lenses didn't advise me of the best use of my insurance discounts. The office didn't bother calling me when my eyeglasses arrived. I had even made sure to ask if they'd let me know as I needed them before traveling. I ordered contact lenses and the salesperson tried to upsell me with additional discounts by ordering more. I agreed to order more for the discount, but wanted them sent to my home address. It was too complicated for the salesperson to figure it out, I suppose. She rang me up and told me they would arrive in 2 weeks but I'd need to come into the office to get the rebate. A couple of weeks go by and I call and physically go into the office but they aren't able to help me saying that a manager will be in touch. I never heard from any managers and had the charge reversed on my credit card. Such a waste of time. I do not recommend using this optometry office for anything.

I went to Dr. Hubert couple of years back for a regular eye exam and for some help with light sensitivity at night. While my nearsighted is 20/20 and has been since I got my LASIK, he insisted that I am developing far sightedness which was a surprise to me cuz I never complained about any issues with reading up close. All I was looking for was may be a pair of glasses to drive at night. Based on his suggestion I got a pair of glasses with far sighted prescription. When I tried them on, it started straining my eyes, it didn't really help my eyes on the computer and reading up close was a bit difficult. Due to this, I did not take any chances to use them while driving at night. After trying it twice, I never put those glasses on. Earlier this week I went to a different optometrist and as I suspected I do not have any far sightedness and the diagnose was incorrect. Both my near and far vision are good. All I needed was a pair of glasses with anti-glare to protect my eyes from light sensitivity and also from sitting at the computer all day long. It's sad how and disgusting that he misdiagnosed me. I never returned back to him and I suggest to find another establishment if you want your eyes to be taken care of properly. Needless to say their front desk staff are rude and dumb, not just at this location but at Reston too.

I've never had such personal service as from my recent visit with Dr. V and the others. My vision is aging and I misplaced my glasses. Dr. V is very thorough in assessing and monitoring the condition of my eyes so I can maintain excellent vision as long as possible.

I had an incredibly disappointing encounter with Northern Virginia Doctors Of Optometry. Not only did they cancel my appointment without any prior notice, but their customer service was shockingly disrespectful. The lack of consideration for my time and the dismissive attitude I received left a lasting negative impression. It's truly disappointing when a medical establishment fails to treat their patients with the basic respect they deserve. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for your optometry needs."

Dr. Patel is excellent! She takes the time to explain the results of the exam. As a diabetic, she understands the need to share the results of her exam with my endocrinologist, which was something my previous eye doctor never did despite asking repeatedly. The office staff is very pleasant and efficient. I should also mention that they are very conveniently located at VHC. I already recommend Dr. Patel to everyone I know, and my wife is also a patient.

I got an appointment quickly when I said I may have a problem. I didn’t have to wait beyond my appointment time. Everyone who helped me from the moment I walked in was friendly, courteous, respectful and professional. I’ve been seeing Dr. Patel about 12 years now and I’m very happy with the consistency of great service I’ve had from her and her staff.

Dr. Patel's gentle, professional approach to my eye problems have been very encouraging. Her office is well run by knowledgeable staff in the various specialties. It is truly a smooth operation and one that inspires patient confidence. The eyedrops she prescribed have already lowered my intraocular eye pressure and improved my vision. I highly recommend Dr. Patel.

Very friendly and helpful. I love my eye doctor. She’s very caring about her patients. The other staff helped me pick what I can afford with my budget. They keep getting better all the time.

I made a first time emergency appointment for my 17 year old daughter- it was the best medical appointment I have had in years. I cannot remember the last time we were treated so well! They squeezed us in, then when we arrived the Dr Lay didn’t rush but took her time assessing my daughter; she was reassuring, and throughout the experience everyone from the front desk to all of the doctors were incredibly kind and caring!!! Dr. Lobaugh even took the time to introduce herself to us, new patients, and she also reassured my daughter. Incredible! We left there so happy!

I have been seeing Dr Lobaugh for some time and honestly should have provided this review sooner. I knew right away Dr Lobaugh IS FANTASTIC. She is so caring and calming by nature and knowledgable! When I have concerns about something she is happy to answer and doesn't make me feel belitted in her presence even though she is the doctor. The staff at the front desk are also kind. A big thank you to Elana my most recent order of contacts! Reason being is because I came across something that I brought to their attention with the order and she made the correction so easy for me! Do you know how comforting it is knowing you've chose right? Knowing you are in care of those with great morality, care for their patients and just the upmost courtesy for their fellow human beings?! That meant so much to me. Dr Lobaugh and her team are the standard! I appreciate you all so much! <3
