Totally agree with other reviewers. The office is an insult to the Spanish community in a garage following No Precautions and no HIPAA guidelines.The office lost my license and insurance card!! The office told me that they would find it and NEVER did. They did not know if they gave it to someone else !!

Went here a few years ago to get an eye exam. He refused to give me my prescription with the PD. I literally had to walk to another eye doctor to get the PD. It's a practice they use because they want you to buy glasses from them and only them. Just read an article that by LAW. Upon completion of an eye exam, they MUST give you the full prescription. No extra charge and no strings attached. It is your prescription. As per the Federal Trade Commission. For contact lenses they have to give it to you after a fitting. Look it up, bad practice. Take your business elsewhere.

I have been here since I was 14 years old. Even after a decade later, I find myself coming here, not due to some form it corporate care, but due to supporting family business. They've been running this business since before 2012, and I hope they continue to do so.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I've taken my child here for nearly 10 years to get glasses and more recently to get the eye exam, too. They've always been very nice and fair (and patient while my kid tried on 17 diff pairs of glasses lol) Why else would we have come back literally EVERY year? If they weren't GREAT, we'd just go somewhere else. I HIGHLY recommend OLIVOS OPTICIANS!

I got a pair of progressives here for the first time. I was told if in 2-3 weeks If I couldn’t adapt to them then I could get two separate pairs. This was a relief. Highly recommend if you are a first time progressive wearer like myself. Plus $100 for a nice frame, progressive, and 1 month adaptation warranty... unbeatable!

Max of MJ Optical Jackson Heights is a true professional! After cataract surgery this past summer, I recently purchased new lenses using my existing frames. Very happy with my new glasses! Plus he adjusted both the nose & temple pieces of my other glasses. Will definitely return.
