I have been coming to MyEyeDr.O.D. this Old Milton location for approximately 7 years. I have to say this office has always treated me with respect, excellence and they keep their professionalism on point. Every single physician that has evaluated my vision has been great knowledge, recommendations and He/She has answered all my questions. On my last visit recently, The medical assistant followed all protocols for COVID and took the necessary measurements to come near me since she had to look closer to my eye. The office looked clean, the staff greeted me and being the fact I also work in the medical field, I can tell their patient's satisfaction as far as customer service is their priority. I was the last appointment of the day and they made sure they assisted me with my contacts and my eye glasses. I was very undecisive regarding what kind of eye glasses to get and Allyssa stayed with me until the end. I must have tried more than 20 pairs but she made sure I was happy with my selection and I got a gorgeous pair :) I left happy and content knowing they took care of me even though I stayed a little pass their business hours. I highly recommend this office and even though I have moved more than 10 miles away, I will continue to travel to Old Milton to be seeing by a great team and staff. Thanks for all you do!

Tremendous Lasik experience with Dr. Hyver. From the first consultation, everyone was extremely professional, reassuring and thorough. The procedure was fast and easy, and recovery was as speedy as I could have hoped for! Now, I have better than 20/20 vision and am enjoying every minute of it! Would highly recommend Dr. Hyver for lasik.

Staff and Doctor were very professional and friendly. The Doctor was very patient with me and helped me leave with a prescription for perfect vision. I'm kind of a gadget guy so I notice things like equipment and technology. They have the latest equipment and an obvious commitment to stay on the leading edge of technology. I am thankful that they are invested in their practice and able to provide the best eye care with a combination of good people and equipment. Feel confident going to see these folks, they will treat you right.

Staff members were professional and transparent. The clinical staff was very detail oriented and explained all the preparatory screenings. Dr. Paul Sforza was very friendly, good listener, knowledgeable counselor, treated me with respect.

If I was only rating the doctor, I would give her five stars. She is patient and does a thorough exam. Unfortunately the staff is not knowledgeable with eyeglass fitting. I did rely on their expertise. Based on their recommendations, I now have eyeglasses that do not fit my face. I would not be upset but they persuaded me to pick a smaller frame than what I had in mind and now my eyeglasses sit below my eyebrows. Quite frustrating with the expense I incurred.

Doctor Wang has professional skill with nice manner. I felt comfortable in his office.

I got my lasik surgery done 2 years ago. Best decision ever. The doctors and staff made it very easy and comfortable. It was quick and painless and truly a life changing experience. The price is also very affordable compared to other places I had gone for consults.

I had a bad experience just yesterday 11/29/23. I scheduled an appointment for a new contact service. Took a half a day from work so that I could be there as I work and live in Johnston County. I waited in the lobby about 10 minutes after completing my forms it was then taken to the back by someone to complete my test prior to seeing a doctor. These tests were taken in three different rooms, and it seemed the person who was taking the test was being rushed and was a bit flustered. After about 15 minutes of test I finally wait in the room for the doctor to come in. He asked, how can we help you today? I let him know I was here for a new contact service today. He automatically says, I may have to reschedule because it’s so late in the day, and that contact appointments take longer than normal. I let him know that I took half the day off so that I could be there for my appointment. He said if he did a new contact appointment for me it would Inconvenience his whole team. I’ll let him know it’ll be an inconvenience to me Reschedule or come back another day. I asked him why they would schedule me for 340 knowing that’s what I came for. I explained they knew I was coming for a new contact appointment because they told me what my co-pay would be over the phone prior to me Coming. He said well that’s something I need to talk to my front desk staff about. He And said well, let’s just see how far we get. I’ll let him know that I wasn’t interested in getting halfway through service I want the full thing. It was very obvious that he was not interested in doing that. He said and said, let’s just get it over with and not waste more time talking about it. At that point, I let him know that it was OK and I would rather book an appointment somewhere else, I asked if I would be charged for this visit as I did not receive a prescription or anything and he said no and I left.Very unprofessional do not recommend.
