Our entire family has been going to Chen Family EyeCare for 2 years. We got to know Mr. and Mrs. Chen practice from a referral from our close friend. We have always been welcomed like into a home and treated with high professionalism and care. We value the experience and family atmosphere. My 6 years old daughter just loves coming here and loves her glasses so much.

Overall a wonderful experience. Dr. Wyse is an excellent surgeon. Her staff were very thorough, performing numerous tests and measurements to ensure that the lenses would be correct. I’d highly recommend her office to anyone needing cataract surgery.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wyse for nearly 30 years. Needless to say, I have tremendous regard for her professionalism and expertise. I have referred many friends to her practice, all of whom find she and her staff exceptional. Although her practice is very busy and sometimes one has to wait (thankfully her waiting areas are comfortable and inviting) it is due to her taking time with patients. When I was diagnosed with glaucoma, Dr. Wyse spent all the time I needed to understand what glaucoma is, how one treats it, and what was necessary for me to keep it under control. When or if she is delayed, I assume she is affording others the same kind of kindness, comfort, and support they also need. I have also found all her technical assistants friendly, communicative, helpful and knowledgeable. I give her practice the highest recommendations.

The surgery was very well oriented! Many visits as Dr Wyse is so through as we did both eyes of my cataracts! I have gone to her for years and highly recommend her and her team! They are all very caring to your needs! She also makes sure that you are comfortable with her decisions! I have my daughter seeing her too! She is one of the best! That’s why you get a 5!

I am a huge advocate of providing a great customer experience no matter what you do. The staff all around was super friendly and helpful and informative. I genuinely felt cared for. Easily the best experience I’ve had at an eye exam.

I had the best experience with my eye exam. I have trouble with multi focal contacts and Dr. Jamie tried every option to clarify my vision. He was extremely patient and so kind. We found the right contacts and I couldn’t be happier.

Be very cautious about setting up any appointments at the Mind-Eye Institute. I was told that the only way to set up an appointment with Dr. Z is by putting down a $300 deposit. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my appointment with Dr. Z, sixteen days prior to seeing her. When I politely asked for a refund, I was told that the $300 appointment reservation fee is NON-refundable and that it was all stated in the tiny print at the bottom of the confirmation e-mail.

After working with Mind-eye for almost 2 years I have graduated their program! In that time I went from barely able to leave my dark room, to maintaining a 4.0 in my first year of graduate school! I can't thank the Mind Eye team enough for giving me my life back

The appointments START at $2,500, be aware. Most of the people here are good with TBI patients and understanding, but a few bad apples need to go. The male doctor will ask you to draw a picture as part of testing, and then CRITICIZE your drawing and point out how it's "wrong"!!! There's also a black lady secretary who's horrible and bullies patients. After paying a small fortune of 2.5k, plus hotel and airfare, the doctor claimed he would follow up via phone in 6 weeks. Did he? No, they completely forgot about their patient after they got the money. The glasses were just OK, they definitely retrigger symptoms which can mean going through literal hell, and they offer zero support after you walk out the door. You can make better gains with other therapies, don't be fooled by the image this place projects and all the "academic research." Doesn't mean anything if you don't do what you say you'll do and act polite. Seriously, criticizing TBI patients' drawing skills???? 👎 Obviously using a privacy account so don't even try the "this person never came to our clinic" line. All of this happened.

The place is clean, staff are nice, good selection for your glasses frames. I would have given 5 stars if not for the repeated bright light test, it’s blinding to begin with and they had to re do it several times. Then their system went down during the examination which cause the delay. The Dr is great, did my prescription well. But the out of pocket cost is on the high end. I have Eyemed insurance and last glasses i got from them I still paid 300ish for the glasses. This is my second year to get my glasses from Lens crafters and this will be the last - due to cost.
