Dr. Z and staff are wonderful! My family and I have been seeing him for several years now and it’s been great. Everyone we interacted with had excellent communication, were patient with questions, and were very friendly. The new office on State Street has a very convenient parking lot right across the street, too!

Dr. Z was one of the best doctors I have ever met with! He was kind, a great listener, and explained everything so clearly and made sure all my questions were answered. The office has some excellent cutting edge technology too! Like the Neuro lens machine—for years I’ve felt that my eyes weren’t focusing properly and Dr. Z proved that to be true! I had never heard of the neuro lens glasses but I have a pair now and I’m hoping they will bring me relief after far too many headaches, dizziness, light sensitivity, etc. Everyone at the office is great too! Thanks again, Dr. Z!

I am a patient at the Media office. Last night I went to the ER and was diagnosed with a corneal abrasion of my right eye (very painful!). I called today because it was recommended that I see an ophthalmologist for follow-up to avoid infection. I was on hold for 10 minutes when I called today and never spoke to anyone. I then called back to be told the first available was February 2020 for a cornea specialist. I asked for a regular ophthalmologist visit and was told that they were even further out...April or May. I commented that I would hope that the abrasion would be resolved by then. The woman who answered the phone was less than helpful and made no effort to accommodate. Will never go back unless they are the last ophthalmologists on earth. Completely irresponsible in terms of patient care. Not up to Penn's standards at all.

They got my prescription wrong. I was advised to spend more money than I should have and in the long term it didn't help me one but because they are not thorough.

Wonderful staff. The staff is kind and very helpful with pre visit and picking glasses.,The doctor is thourough with the examination. I found out more about my eyes this visit than all my life checkups. Never heard of cleaning my eyes thouroughly before. Now I know lol. I recommend them to anyone who wants a good eye experience.

Very bad service. A woman is called Dr. Liu, she has attitude with my son, a 7 years old boy, it just like a class to teach letters more than eyes check up. Unprofessional. She should learn to be sweet with kids more than adults. I’m very upset. Never go back here again

Dr.Liu does the most thorough exam she made sure I seen the best I could. Binta and Jackie assisted me with my eyeglasses. Binta went over what lenses best worked with my prescription. Purchasing with Walmart Vision Center saved me over $100.

On 09.18.23 I entered this store for the first time! I was inquiring about the acceptance of my vision insurance! Unfortunately, the store did not have my insurance in their network, but the woman behind the counter couldn’t have been nicer! She looked at my glasses, adjusted the hinges, and told me which optometrist in the area carried my insurance! This is what I consider: First Class customer service! Thank you to C Paul Cleary Opticians!!!

The owner needs to not talk as much and pay more attention to the show around her. Waited for glasses for over a month - I kept bugging she said she called and was told they were. In process finally she tells me to call - not my job - it’s your ship, I’ve paid you already I have nothing - you follow through. Finally I hear they lost the frames so come over and pick new ones which I did _ then she brings others out so I decide ok go with them. Picked up yesterday realize in store the sunglasses are plastic which means when you perspire plus should have been darker they are gonna slip strike 2 i then go home look in the mirror and see how very long the legs are on my regular glasses - you could have wrapped them twice around my ears - strike 3. I called her told her and she says I can fix that - I said you can shorten the legs - well no they all come in with that length niw - so everyone has to have the same size head. Tells me you’ll have to pick out ones your insurance offers. I’m so ticked off at that woman I don’t know how I’m gonna handle this. Because if she tells me one more time thank you for your patience - they just ran out. If I do go back it will be the last time.

Don't believe the other review. It's full of crap. I've been going to their office for years (I have to get a new pair every year). I love them, they're so nice. Every time I go I never remember the rules of my insurance, and she always looks them up for me- they go the extra mile to help out. The service is quick, reliable and friendly. The receptionist is probably one of the nicest people I've ever met, and she always puts a super rush on my glasses because I need them for class- with no extra charge (that I never got with any other business). They're the best. Simple as that, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
