I've been coming here for about ten years. My experience has been great. Everyone in the store is really polite and helpful. Recently, throughout the summer new owners took over and they are just the best. They are all very generous and cordial. The eye doctor is amazing and such a friendly person. This is the location to go if you want to have your eyes examined and purchase some glasses or contacts.

Had a wonderful experience here at Cohens. The optometrist was thorough, patient, and very informative. Nico is super friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable about all of the insurance companies and coverages. He was patient with my two children and worked with me to figure out the best way to order my glasses and contacts through my insurance. I highly recommend any and everyone to come here - you will not regret it! A pleasant experience from the moment I walked in.

He and his staff make an office visit enjoyable. He listens to the patient and gives one of the most complete exams that I have ever had. He sets the bar quite high for all other doctors. His staff is excellent. Thank you David your the best.

Very knowledgeable and patient friendly. My wife, Hilda, went to ensure that her red eye was nothing to be concerned about. Dr. Gerstenfeld examined Hilda and informed her that she had a blood vessel that ruptured. The recovery time for the red eye will be about 2 weeks.

I have been a patient for many years and continue to be very satisfied with this practice. The staff and doctors are all professional, knowledgeable and most importantly display patience when answering all questions. A very positive experience.

I had my eye exam today at America's Best and got 2 pair of glasses. The price was great. The service is exceptional from Dr. Lu, James, AnnMarie and all the staff. I highly recommend the Hylan Blvd location on StatenIsland.

My most recent experience at America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses has been very quick, easy and thorough. The Ophthalmologist portion of the screening/exam was especially nice and smooth. I was pleased with how Dr Williams conducted the exam remotely; she was extremely thorough and the process was incredibly interactive! I must say, using the remote or digital exam was better than my previous ones. Thank you America's Best....

These nice girls went above and beyond to ensure I had my glasses on a rush order. The glasses fit me perfectly and the price was unbeatable. Gina, after getting my frames took the prescription to the supplier herself to make sure he worked on them over the weekend so I'd have my glasses by Monday you cant find people like that anywhere! I highly recommend this business!
