She was so mean. I was diagnosed with MS and was sent to her to see if I had optic neuritis. I spent less than 60 seconds to try to explain why I was there and she was impatient to listen and said, ”Um, I’m an Opthamologist not a Neurologist.” When she saw that I actually had optic neuritis she seemed embarrassed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fernandez for several years. Dr. Fernandez has always been extremely professional and courteous. She is also a great doctor. She takes her time with examinations and I have never felt rushed in the exam room. She makes sure that her prescription is the exact right one. The store has a great selection of frames and the staff is also very accommodating. I would recommend 'seeing' Dr. Anna Fernandez without reservation.

I was immediately greeted with a smile as I entered. The staff was very friendly, attentive and professional. Dr. Z was awesome. She took the time to talk and get to know me better. She explained everything to me in regards to my contact lens options. She corrected my prescription and ordered trial lenses, along with full boxes, so I could ensure they were right and offered an exchange if I wasn't happy with them. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in need! Thank you, Pildes Optical 🙂

Prior to Dr. Fernandez becoming my optometrist, I was the patient of several other doctors who always seemed to be rushing me out the door. I have never felt rushed with Dr. Fernandez. She is professional, knowledgeable, very pleasant, and takes the time to explain things in a very clear manner. In addition to being an excellent optometrist, Dr. Fernandez has a top notch staff. They are always very helpful and patient in finding the perfect glasses for me.

Shame on my wife for not looking at your reviews before coming to your office. Your rating explains everything. My wife was there this Saturday. She came with her insurance that covered her eye exam and a voucher that covers the glasses and frames. This place is ridiculously overpriced with its frames. So we want to take our voucher and go somewhere else. I called them 10 times, left about 3 messages, and got zero callbacks. They pick up and hang up on you. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a headache. There’s a reason this establishment has terrible reviews. Go elsewhere.

Fantastic service. I got an eye exam here to renew my license. Smooth and simple. I also bought a new pair of glasses. Alan spent a lot of time with me and helped me pick "The" perfect frame for my tall but thin head. Super satisfied! This place knows what they are doing on all fronts involving eye wear/care :)

The level of service cannot be matched anywhere! I was in town from Chicago. My son lost his glasses and had to travel to Europe. I called 10 different stores, and they all said that they mail prescriptions out and could not turn around an order in a day. Alan said that it would depend on my son's prescription. He called the store in Chicago where we bought his glasses. They faxed the prescription, and he had the lenses in stock. We went over, and we had our glasses in under 30 minutes. While there, people came into the store, and it was they they were family. Hugs..kisses...clear loyalty. He has been there for over forty years..obviously he is doing something right! (Great selection too, btw. All the brand names you would want!)

I have been a patient of Dr Gerstenfeld for many years. I highly recommend him. His staff are great and he takes the time to explain the details with you, is friendly and thorough. My mom Connie recently had cataract surgery and she had a great experience and highly recommends him as well.

My experience with Dr. Gerstenfeld and all of his staff was a pleasure. My exam was thorough and organized I was pleasantly surprised. My disappointment is all the surprise charges that was not disclosed before the services was rendered.

I love the selection here as well as friendly, thorough service. Reps are amazing at knowing which frames to suggest that will fit each person and are extremely knowledgeable in the process and materials used for frames. My most recent experience landed me gorgeous Christian Dior frames and an incredibly thin lens for my prescription. I also appreciate all the help with insurance. Can recommend!
