The Dr. was very good, but when it came to meeting with the Optician Stacey that all changed. Once she heard my husband and I only wanted frames that were covered by our insurance she could not be botherd, She showed me a few frames. But when came to my husband she didn't even get out of her chair and then seemed to have an attitude. We have been patients for many year, last year we moved a half hour away but continued to travel here, but after this experience we are considering looking elsewhere.

Very surprised by the negative reviews. I've been coming here for 20 years and never anything but a good experience. Always friendly at the front desk. The doctors and optricians are great. Just had lasik with Dr. Malik, also, and everything went well.

I have been going here for years. Everyone is always helpful - Stacy goes above and beyond for everyone she helps! She is always so patient and accommodating - she even went out of her way to get me new glasses over the weekend when I lost mine!

I have some trepidation whenever I walk into a doctor's appointment. However, I must admit that the moment I step into Dr. Maisel's office I am greeted by a warm staff, I am seen by professional and caring medical technicians, and I get treated by Dr. Maisel who is always kind and reassuring.

Total disregard for the patient's time. Nobody came in to update me and I was there for 3 hours. When I finally saw the doctor, I was with him for 5 minutes. I understand there are delays, but a person should be notified of the situation.

Had an insulting experience today. I was welcomed and prepped for Lasic retinopathy by the staff who are Always Great. .10:30 appoint ,half day no pay. Sitting in chair anticipation 20 mins go by Dr will be with you.another 10-15. He is in a conference. Anticipation starting to set in. Nurse asks if I can come back later in afternoon. I missed half day pay. Total disregard. I left them at elevator I,m told he will take me in. Not under diress. Done. Never again

The best!! He is at Cohen’s at Broadway Mall. I go from Commack to see him. He gets the prescription right, does a thorough eye health exam and he has found a really good treatment for my dry eye condition. He helped my teen son get into contact lenses, too.

I would recommend coming here to anyone looking for outstanding customer service. Crystal is amazing at always finds the perfect frames for me. She was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable.

I missed the black Friday sale by 1 week, 50% off frames + lenses. They never mentioned it to me. I asked them to adjust my receipt and they said come in and they would make the adjustment. I drove 25 minutes to the store and they said they would not make the adjustment because I needed to purchase frames and lenses. I just bought lenses. If I had been told a week earlier, I would have bought both. I requested the store manager to give me a call and I am still waiting.

Ellen went above and beyond to help me out. My original glasses did not pass a quality checkpoint and I was leaving for vacation in two days. She made sure I had something to go away with. Now I can see and won’t be missing out of anything. A huge THANK YOU Ellen for going the extra mile.
