The staff were all very nice. However, the technology is severely behind the times and the 3 hour long wait because its one doctor and a handful of technicians is just wrong. My appointment was scheduled at 3. I arrived close to 15 minutes early. I didnt walk out till a quarter to 6. Every single person commented on the wait and a few regulars stated that its always like that. You have to sign some odd waiver that even the staff couldnt explain to me... Stop overbooking, maybe hire another doctor, and update the instruments... I won't be going back.

Dr Fanous and his staff are pleasant and very through. I was tested and spent considerable time with Robert prior to meeting with Dr Fanous. I had questions which were all answered. I would definitely recommend Dr Fanous to anyone looking for a physician who cares.

The girlfriend goes here once a year for glasses. Top rate place!! Always clean. Friendly staff..

May 2023: This is the better part of the Gainesville VA system. I don't mind coming here, and I actually look forward to it. People are nicer here. The physicians and PAs really take their time with you. The contractors who are in the optical center are very helpful with finding the right pair of sunglasses and eyeglasses for you. I needed tinted lenses, and they had 18 different tints! I was able to go through all and find the right tint for my light sensitivity. +There are so many eyeglasses (for free & other name brands for a lower retail price 55-175). Glasses arrive within 2-3 weeks after you select the frames. Very cool!

Originally had late Dec appt but they were able to move it up to today. Everyone was pleasant from check in to check out. I've used 4-5 VA optical clinics and this one is top notch. The doctor was excellent and so was the young lady in optical that ordered my glasses. She even repaired my old ones so I could use them til my new ones come. Would highly recommend this clinic. I am grateful just to have the benefit of using VA optical.

Great Doctors and very extensive examinations. The staff that fit you for your frames do an excellent job of explaining options and putting you in the best glasses possible. I would make one request of the front desk staff, please make your patients feel you value their time by providing updates on delays in their appointments.

I love Dr.Quinn. I’ve been a patient here for a while now and it’s always a pleasant experience. The exams are thorough and finding frames has always been a pleasure. Front desk staff could have been more pleasant but all in all it was a pleasure like always.

I've been a customer of Quinn's for many many years however after I last spent $300 (after insurance btw) to buy my last pair of glasses, I couldn't wear them because they made me sick. I took them back in to Quinn, was told they were fine, was advised to continue wearing them straight for a few more weeks (which I did, and was sick with vertigo-type feelings the entire time), and they specifically told me that I have one year to fix any prescription type issues. Then, when I brought them back in to Quinn, I was told it was too late for them to do anything. I was literally told, "there's nothing we can do." On top of this, the last several times I went in for either myself, my son, or husband, we waited over an hour to be seen. After this last issue and now having a $300 paper weight I can't bear to look at (or look through for that matter), I can assure you that Quinn will never receive my or my family's business again.

Dr. Krol and her team are outstanding, and I highly recommend them. I've been a patient of Gainesville Family Eyecare for a long time, and consistently experience quality, caring service in a friendly, welcoming environment. I appreciate the excellent care I've received here through the years!

We take my grandson here and my family has used for over 20 years! Professional, up on all latest treatments, & great selection in glasses! We love them!

Absolutely would recommend them to anyone that needs glasses. Extremely professional and detail oriented. I went there after trying Quinn Eye Center and having the absolute worst experience in over 30 years of purchasing prescription glasses. Couldn't be happier with Gainesville Family Eyecare.
