Surprisingly harmonious experience for my first visit there! Everyone was helpful with my questions and with each test administered smoothly. Very well organized office! Requested results of my tests, as requested, in a 4 page printout—one in color even. Liked having my own records myself. Returning again. Impressed.

Quick wait times, extremely friendly and helpful staff (as always). I still prefer this office even though they are now out of network for me - it feels like a friendly, small town neighborhood shop despite having the resources of a large chain.

Dr. Craner's excellence is truly commendable; he dedicates the necessary time to ensure the perfect prescription for me. Additionally, Chris is exceptional in her role, efficiently managing insurance claims, providing accurate information, and ensuring that you receive the optimal solutions for your requirements.

The office staff is friendly and I was attended to quickly. My exam went great with the DR. asking me questions about my physical and eye health. Every step of the exam was explained and he gave many opportunities to ask question. Thank you!

Dr. Pribis looked after me when I got pink-eye and keratitis while I was working in Stamford. She is very hospitable and will answer your questions thoroughly. Highly recommend.

I tried to reschedule my appointment with them because unfortunately I had to take a household member to an emergency appointment so couldn't make my appointment with them. My appointment I had made the night before, approx. 14 hours prior. I was then told by a quite unfriendly staff member that I can't reschedule within 24 hours of the appointment and will have to pay my copay for not showing up and will also never be able to schedule an appointment with them again, only walk-ins since I am not reliable. I explained my unforeseen emergency situation and that I had only made the appointment the night before so by the laws of physics there is no way I could have rescheduled 24 hrs before the appointment. The staff member then said she would discuss with the doctor and call me back. I waited 1.5 hours without a call back and then called again myself. They did not apologize for never calling me back and put Dr Nemser directly on the phone. He started off by asking me why I am wasting his time. He then however conceded that he couldn't charge me anything for not making it to my appointment after I told him I was a fellow healthcare worker myself and cannot be fooled like this. Overall horrible experience, I have never been insulted like this before by both staff and provider. Plus the audacity of trying to scare you into paying money or never getting appointments (therefore healthcare!) again. Stay away, there are many other optometrists in the area.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nemser's for almost 25 years. He is an excellent doctor who takes very good care of my eyes. He has always carefully explained any changes to my vision and is very professional. The staff is also very helpful. Whether it's ensuring my contacts get shipped or offering help picking out frames, they have always been there to help me.

My eye health is very important to me, so finding a great doctor in the area was crucial. I found Progressivision through their awesome instagram account. The woman at the desk and the gentleman in the back were confident and knowledgeable. Dr. Nemser knew how to take care of my eyes and gave me great advice. Prices for glasses are fair, and they work with my insurance! I encourage you to give this office a try when your yearly eye exam comes around!
