I have been a patient of Dr. Castaldi for over 10 years. Great service and information every time. Very understanding with the schedule of college students who are out of state for months at a time. Very kind and employees are very welcoming. I have no complaints.

Lied about accepting my insurance. I called ahead to provide my insurance details and was told that I would be covered in-network. When I arrived, I gave them my insurance card was reassured that I would only be responsible for the $40 co-pay. Two weeks later I receive a bill for $278 (in addition to my co-pay) for <10-minute exam. Called the number and was told that it was out-of-network. Major scam artist.

After being treated poorly by another office in the area, I needed a quick appointment to be able to order new contacts. I was so relieved to find Stamford Eye Associates. I am a teacher, and it is difficult for me to schedule appointments. The office was very kind and accomodating. They worked with me to try to solve issues with my coverage, contacting my primary care physician and informing me of possible refunds I could be eligible for under my insurance. The doctor I saw was thorough and professional. Her assistant was very understanding and friendly. I am so glad I switched!

I felt calm even though I was a little nervous. The people were friendly and very helpful. It was important to me that the nurses did let me know what was happening. Also, I was told I had of time what would happen in the surgery room. My doctor did an excellent job.
