I was thrilled when I found that this location carries a specific brand of glasses I like. Everyone I encountered here was very helpful, specifically Lyndsey and Matthew, both very professional. Matthew did a great job fitting my glasses ! Excited to come back next year for sunglasses.

Everyone was so beautifully kind. From the moment i got greeted, she was helpful and kind. The doctor was so kind and helpful. I wish all my doctors gave off her charisma and personality my goodness. As well as the person checking me out, she went above and beyond to assist me and finding the best discount for me. I appreciate you all, you’re team made my morning.

After a lot of careful thought and consideration I have decided to go public about my experience with this eye doctor. Back in January of 2023 I made an appointment to see Dr. Jessica Duddleston to have a routine eye exam. I was a first time patient at this clinic and choose to try it out since it was not far from my house. Everything seemed fine until I went to have my new eye glass prescription made and immediately was not seeing correctly. I made a follow up appointment with Dr. Duddleston's staff the next day and discovered that they had wrote me the wrong prescription. A new prescription was written and I traveled back to have my eye glasses remade but once again the new prescription was wrong. I then reached back out to the clinic to schedule a third eye exam to determine what was wrong. I met with Dr. Duddleston personally on the third visit and explained my vision was off in the right eye but she insisted that there was nothing wrong with the prescription. It was then that I decided it was necessary to seek a second opinion to determine what was wrong. I found a nearby licensed and certified Optometrist to perform the exam and attempted to have my medical records transferred over to her office but Dr. Duddleston and her staff never complied with the transfer request even though all procedures were followed. When I went to get a second opinion it was very quickly discovered that Dr. Duddleston and her staff had under minused me by three quarters of a percent in the right eye. Dr. Duddleston was then notified that a second opinion had been obtained and the results of that examination were shared with her. However, Dr. Duddleston took no personal or professional responsibility for it despite the overwhelming evidence that proved otherwise. Furthermore, Dr. Duddleston made serveral attempts during that conversation to minimize, obfuscate and mislead me about the results of the second doctor’s opinion when it had become very clear by that point that Dr. Duddleston had engaged in medical malpractice. I attempted to contact and notify the head of Alabama Vision Center, Dr. Price Kloess on May 3, 2023 about the malpractice and professional misconduct of Dr. Jessica Duddleston and her staff through his administrative assistant, Ashley Bonds. However, miss Bonds refused to discuss the matter with me by not returning my phone call and no attempt was ever made by Dr. Price Kloess to contact me about it in spite of my request for him to do so. I am therefore warning any future patients to strongly reconsider using this clinic or Doctor. I wasted months of my time and money to get something straightened out that should of never been a problem to begin with.

Dr. Korber and his staff are simply the best. I have been to his office for about 20 years now, which includes yearly check ups and cataract surgeries. The first cataract surgery was nearly 18 years ago and it was discovered that I had one in the other eye as well. Dr. Korber informed me that when the other cataract was large enough, he would remove that one as well. At the end of last year it was time and he performed the second cataract surgery. Both surgeries went off without a hitch due to Dr. Korber’s skill and his staff’s professionalism. Dr. Korber is kind and unassuming. I have the upmost confidence in his knowledge and skill.

Customer services is extremely bad. The lady that replies to the phone has a really bad attitude. Everytime i get her on the phone, i try to get over with the discussion as soon as possible. Horrible attitude. She should get supervised by someone.

I have been coming here for 3-4 years now for contacts/ eye appts for prescriptions. When I came for my first appt, the dr switched me to a different brand& prior I had monthly wear contacts. I was not told that this new brand was bi-weekly. So for the last 3-4 years I’ve been using these contacts as monthly’s! Also no where does my paperwork or the box say that these contacts I’ve been wearing are only good for 2 weeks. I could’ve gone blind (I’m already blind, hence the need for contacts but you know what I mean) or gotten an infection! I can’t claim malpractice since nothing actually happened to my eyes (thank god) but what the heck!

I had surgery on one eye, a cataract due to a dodge ball to the right eye. Great game but some of those little eight year olds have laser aim. :-) Let me say this…. ESI is first class. Indy’s best. More than anything, EVERYONE there is super friendly. I don’t know how they keep so many employees smiling at patients day after day. But wow, SUPER friendly, polite, professional. From reception, to techs, nurses, doctors, etc. everyone were so welcoming. Plus they have 3-4 locations, making it convenient from home or work. Paul Walton MD is the original founder I think and is still skillfully performing surgeries. He’s a trendsetter in the industry, as I have read. Very nice man. My surgeon however was Dr Bill Shultz, and wow! Highly skilled and so very personable. My results are truly amazing. Thank you ESI staff so much! I went from one nearly useless eye, to 20/25 just eight days after my procedure. Plus it might actually continue to improve. Thank you Francis the receptionist, Shanna the tech, Peter my RN, and everyone else including the friendly security guard out back. Oh, Dr Kirk also receives the highest praise! He’s my OD who really sets the whole process in to action, with a very thorough exam. Great guy. The ESI family, suddenly feels like my family. I was a little woozy afterwards from the walking sedation but I think I was drinking refreshing fruit juice afterwards. They’ll pick you up and safely drive you home too, nice safe drivers. They sent me home with an after-care kit, complete with instructions, eye drops, eye shield, coffee cup, everything you’ll need to heal properly. I couldn’t be happier. If you have cataracts, or need lasik, or other eye procedures, I highly recommend. Even an experience half as good as mine, would be twice as good as expectations.

The more I thought about what happened the more up set I felt. I knew it would be more than $79 but $269 and the frames I got were fairly inexpensive. So Im not sure what happened I'm a trusting person and I feel honestly is the best way to conduct busines apparently America's best contacts don't feel that way. My advice is to stay clear of the that place.

Today I walked in off the street with no appointment. I had some glasses that were bent. They were friendly and accommodating! They helped me by straightening the frames in about 5 minutes. Thank you so much!
