My first appointment today was good. The office was clean and the staff was super friendly. I respect any Doctor and/or facility that accepts medi-cal, I hope patients that come here and receive state funded health insurance like myself realize that these doctors are a blessing to us and we should all treat each other with respect and dignity. This facility that is under new ownership I might add, should be your first choice if you are in the area and in the market for new spectacles ššā¤

Iāve been a loyal customer for 10 years, unfortunately the receptionist is the reason Iāll no longer be returning. She is absolutely RUDE... This annual appointment (2021) they have āa new office crewā; the receptionist needs to work on ācustomer serviceā and improve her communication skills and tact.
Itās unfortunate because this doctors office used to be great, now I would highly recommend you GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I had a great experience here at Stanton Optical. I was immediately greeted and welcomed by Martha and she went over everything I needed and even also found some really nice frames for me quickly. My last pair I spent way too much for that didnāt last but Martha was so helpful and priced out everything for me and WOW a lot cheaper than my old place! Recommend seeing and talking to Martha !

Had a very positive experience today. I purchased a pair of prescription sunglasses and regular glasses for my daughter. The service that I had received was amazing, thorough, and informatively guided to my needs for the protection of my eyes as well as my childās eyes. Jalynn and Martha were very helpful and made the process of purchase affordable and uncomplicated. Thank you so much for the help today and I will definitely recommend friends and family of my to give it a try. āŗļø

All the staff that took care of me during my cataract surgeries were amazing! Their kindness, courtesy, and care was beyond expectation. I especially want to mention Tami Garland. Her expertise, patience, and attention to detail was a new and great experience for me with glasses. She is such an asset to your institution! She alone could have been my reason for the 5 stars review. Iām very thankful for all of you.

The office was nicely decorated and clean. It has several papers that mention to wear your mask. The way that the chairs were set up provides a more secure environment to visit. The office person was really nice and friendly. The restrooms were clean and the outside has a little space with lots of flowers.

That was the most thorough and thoughtful eye exam I have every had. Dr. Henry spoke to me with intellect and didnāt water down the medical information for me which I truly appreciated. Everyone there was helpful and kind. Highly recommend!!

Dropped off my glasses to get fixed and they said they would be ready by the end of the day. I never got a call so I went in the following day. I got sat and waited for 30 mins just to be told that my glasses were not ready. I asked to just have them back because they probably wouldn't have even finished them before the weekend. I went to put my glasses back together and my lenses and frames were both scratched.
Edit- they gave me back the wrong screw for my arms. Now I canāt even fix them if I wanted to.
DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

Iāll preface this with that I do not normally write scathing reviews about anything; but, this is an exception. I am a healthcare professional and I have not seen this level of non-professionalism. This a 0.5 star review but Google can only do 1 star. Went here in November 2022 for blurred vision and eye pain/headache. Two appointments was all it took to realize that they didnāt care about me as a patient. I felt like a cash grab for the place. Dr M Cantrell did not try for imaging immediately. He rather go through all the same optometry tests that you would do when you get your prescription glasses.
The tests were ran again on the second visit. After finding that the readings were off compared to my previous prescription, he wanted to go on the medication approach for pain relief rather than referring me to an imaging facility for an MRI. He told me to āLIVE WITH ITā and that there wasnāt much he could do.
He wanted to set up a third appointment to do more nominal imaging that was not an MRI/CAT scan. I was fed up with it and went down to Southern California to another ophthalmologist for another professional view as to what is going on. I was not getting the care I needed and I still didnāt know what was going on. We went straight to an MRI and found a mass⦠something that could have been a lot worse if not caught early. The team at DLV helped me out tremendously and quickly got me the care I needed. It was night and day the level of care. At the rate that I was progressing with care under Dr. Cantrell, I probably wouldnāt be here to write this review. Please stay away if you have ophthalmological issues as youāll be sitting in limbo for months.

Leaving 5 stars because they brought me in same day for an eye injury and their waiting room is gorgeous. Bonus HGTV was on so much better than cnn ! I'll update my review if the doctor sucks. Otherwise good to go. Update - they fixed me up good.
